The Muppet Show
The Muppet Show
I searched and I couldn't believe there was nothing on this classic show. One of the best shows of all time. Kermit and gang at their best. Man I miss this show. Henson was a God for bringing us kids (back in the day) something to look forward to on televison. Fav character? ANIMAL!!!

Re: The Muppet Show
Man...thats a drag...and impossible...The Muppet Show was a popular program...where were you looking? :p my favorite characters?...Miss Piggy for desperately chasing for her true love..."Kermy"...Gonzo for being what ever animal he was and nobody knowing that either...and his love for chickens...Fozzie for being cute, cuddly and such a funny little bear..oh and I can't forget to mention Animal for being crazy and that scientific muppet...Otter I think that's his name...with the big eyes and skinny head with orange hair...
Gosh this post is like the one where we have to name our favorite Warrior...

Re: The Muppet Show
Hey Jen. I believe the scientific muppet you are refering to is Beaker the lab assistant; the greatist muppet ever created. Mee meee meeeeee!
Looking back on the show, it always impressed me, the calibre of hollywood stars that would guest and participate in some of those wacky skits. I guess the top stars of today are to wrapped up in their own self importance to allow themselves to be karate chopped by a puppet pig.
Anyone remember the spin off cartoon; Muppet babies?

Re: The Muppet Show
Yes...thats his name...thanks Shaun 8) Bunsen and Beaker!
I miss watching Muppet Babies when I had the energy to be up so early in the morning...that was another classic Muppet extravaganza...however the Muppet with glasses...Scooter has a twin sister Skeeter and she's only featured in Muppet Babies...I read somewhere that she was only featured on Muppet Babies so there would be another female presence in the nursery since Miss Piggy was the only one on the show...she wasn't really considered a Muppet...and Janice wasn't in that show! I remember the Muppets were taken care of by a woman who you could only see her legs...blue skirt stripped stockings and blue shoes (i think!)...and had such a sweet voice...Memories of what used to be...*sigh*

Re: The Muppet Show
Hahahaha! Good one Lions
One thing I always couldn't stand were those two old men Statler and Waldorf......they always criticized everything...even the good things the Muppets did...yet at the same time they should have criticized themselves for being so jealous
maybe because they didn't have much fun when they were younger...okay now I'm being logical again...sheesh!!! can someone explain their nonsense without being so logical
::)

Re: The Muppet Show
Is anyone going to be brave enough to admiting they own kermits sitting on the stairs record and Animals Mner Mner song??
Does anyone else consider the puppets in seseme street as being muppets. They both had kermit the frog and was both made by jim henson. Bert and ernie was by far the best. they deserved their own show. It annoys me how political correctness has forced cookie monster into calling cookies "sometimes treat".
I would have paid to see some kid kick big bird in the shin. Oscar the grouch has my personality.

Some characters on Sesame Street were cool, but I agree, Big Bird wasn't one of my favorites.

Re: The Muppet Show
I don't know about you guys, but I thought Statler and Waldorf (the old men in the balcony) were the funniest, along with the captain of the Swinetrek (Pigs in Space) and of course Janet (Oh, wow, Dr. Tooth)
