Vermin burst out in laughter, spitting popcorn out his mouth. CowBoy almost wet himself, dubbeled over in his seat.

"Oh, man. My ribs are going to split!" Vermin yelled breathlessly.

"I know, I know!" CowBoy agreed.

This sene was played out countless times bettween the two of them. Once again, they were sitting n a dark theater watching movies. They gave protection so they got in for free. Vermin always got popcorn and CowBoy always got twislers.

They were watching Animal House. This was somthing that Rembrant would have gone to, but he was back with his parents this weekend.

"Rembrant would love this!" Vermin said as he finnaly got his breath back. CowBoy heard him but did not respond. He was watching the movie.

Latter after the credits rolled Vermin and CowBoy walked out of the theater. Vermin winced at the sudden bright light of the sun.

"You know, I got an idea." Vermin said. "We should have a toga party." Hearing this made CowBoy burst out laughing all over again.

"Yeah, nice idea.Want to go see what Swan's doing?" CowBoy asked. Now they had nothing to do.

"Sure maybe he'll go to Nathen's with us." Vermin answered.

They walked down the street, pointing at some people.

"Would you look at the studs on that one!" Vermin yelled with a fake gasp. He was pointing at someone with a few peircings. No, it was more than  few. "He's got a tool box on his face!" as Vermin would have called it. Vermin allways found a way to make the Warriors laugh, no matter what.

Vermin stoped CowBoy. They looked up at a neon sign towering over them. It read "Black-Jack-Tattoo."

"Dude, we have to go." Vermin said looking into the window.

"If your paying." CowBoy said tenitively.

"Allright! Let's go!" Vermin said.

They walked inside and were greeted with a fimilyer voice.

"Man, what are you doing here?" Vermin asked, walking faster over to the counter.

"I finnaly got a job, big bro!" I said. I haven't seen Vermin in years, let alone John. Sorry I mean CowBoy.

"CowBoy this is my little brother. Look at this runt!" Vermin said.

"Yeah, I remember." CowBoy said. "Remember when we put him on the Cyclone till he puked?"

"Yeah, that was great." Vermin said.

I let out a laugh. It was a great laugh. The kind that makes other people laugh just because you're laughing. I must have gotten that from from my brother.

"Remember what we used to call ya?" Vermin asked.

Of course, I remembered clear as day. "Puke." I said. I was lovingly named after that day on the cyclone.

"So, you want a tat or not?" I asked them.

"Yeah, sure. You still remember how to draw the War Bird?" CowBoy asked.

"Yeah. Yeah, I can do it." I had only been ten when Vermin let me meet the gang. He was sixteen. Before then I knew him as Adam. After awile I just started calling him Vermin all the same.

I finished the tattoo on both of them. A giant War Bird on their backs. I didn't make them pay. I would do it later myself.

Thoughts/comments would be great guys. Tell me if you like it so far.  :)

Me, Vermin, and CowBoy walked along the streets of Coney. I could smell the hotdogs, and the bordwalk, but I could also smell somthing different. Somthing that I couldn't quite wrap my mind around.

We came to a medium size building. It had gray stucko walls with spray paint all over it. It had a wooden door. When you stepped inside you could smell the gloom, the coppery smell of blood, and for some odd reason you could smell chineise food. It was pretty cool really, now that I think about it. There were rooms up stairs in case you wanted to stay there. Most of the seven Warriors from the night in the Bronx had a periment room there. There was a pinball machine in the room with the TV. This paticly annoyed Ajax when he was trying to watch somthing.

"Hey Swan, look who I found!" Vermin said.

"Puke!" Swan said. He hadn't seen him for longer than Vermin.

"Aww, man. Why does everyone remember that?" I said in protest. But in all realatiy I didn't mind at all.

"So," Swan said the three of them now sitting down on the couch. "Did you think about joining or what ever?"

"No, Swan. He's too young." Vermin said. I wondered why he was sticking up for me like that. "Set him up with a deal before he's 18."

"How do you figure?" Swan said. I could tell he had no clue what Vermin ment.

"Like a half Warrior. He can run errends and stuff. You know, I got to protect him, atleast till he's 18." Vermin explained. My parents had died about four years go. Vermin was the only family who would take me. Good thing too. I likeed him best.

It was dark. They streets of Coney were empty except for the deviants. Vacationers have a long since gone home. A man was broght face to face with his true fears out here in this urban wasteland.

The Warriors had sent some of their member out on patrol. Swan had let me stay the night because I had no place to go. My job payed well but, I just started and it was not enough to rent me an apartment. I was living under the bord walk in a sleeping bag.

"Hey. Wake up, man" Ajax shook me awake.

"Huh?" I said half asleep. I rubbed my eyes and sat up in bed.

"Beer run." Ajax said.

"I'm under age, man! I'll get cought." I was fully awake now.

"Hurry go, before you wake up Vermin." He gave me the money.

"Fine."

I got up from the cot I was sleeping on. I saw the glow from the pinball machine and walked out the door. It was brisk out side but, not too cold. I could just barley see my breath. Off in the distance I could see the glow of the neon sign. It read Coney Island Brew

I walked into the store. Great, they close in about 10 minutes. He won't care how old I am.

"24 pack please, Budweiser." I said, keeping my eyes low.

From behind a magizine, the clerk went back into the fridge room and brought out the box. He stuck out his hand for the money.

I grabbed the case and jabbed the money nto his hand. I had seen a cop coming up the street.

As I was running down the street I could hear the rythmic pattern of my footfalls pounding the street. I don't know if you have noticed but it is really hard to run with case that big.

I got back to the hang out and found Ajax.

"Alright little man. Vermin, look what your bro got us!" Ajax said opeaning the case.

"What did you do? Yuo could have got cought!" Vermin said in a tone much like my parents.

Ajax ruffed my hair as Swan walked up to grab a beer.

"I almost did." I said. Vermin's eyes bugged alittle as ther was a knock on the door.
