Yo! I was looking through the list of official gangs from the Warriors movie last night and noticed a gang called the Eighth Avenue Apaches. I happen to live on 8th Avenue in Manhattan, which borders on the Neighborhood of Clinton, aka "Hell's Kitchen", and remembered that the Rogues were from Hell's Kitchen too. Add this together with the Apaches' apparent absence from the film and what do you have?

That's right! A Fanfic! I've spent the last few hours working on the first chapter and it will hopefully be done sometime in the next few days.

And just for the record, I know that the Warriors are an Indian themed gang, but if it weren't for Cochise you would never know it.

Oh, I almost forgot this is what actually inspired me to write the fanfic, I spent about fifteen minutes making a mock-grafitti burner for the Apaches.

Yeah mostly the Fan Fiction that are on the Website are mostly about The Warriors, Furies, and Punks. I want to see how this one turns out .

Hey, I'm almost finished with the first chapter, and I thought I'd post some small details I'd thought up to give the reader a visual of what the gang looks like in my head.

Terminology:
(Apaches - Wariors)

Chief - Warlord
Wise Man - Scout


Visual Aspects:

I saw the Apaches' uniform as a vest (cliche, I know), made of rough, light brown leather with their logo on the back and leather tassles on the edges, kinda like a biker's jacket without sleeves.

Optional uniform pieces would be headbands, head-dresses, and armbands, either multi-colored or in a tribal-pattern. Warpaint could be applied to their faces whenever they army in on another gang.

As for weapons: knives, bricks, bats, clubs, whatever is available. But the Chief would carry an actual Tomahawk hatchet for large scale gang fights.
