chapter five
fletcher's house
11:00pm


Fletcher was now outside of his house and decided he would just make up reasonable,believable story if his mom or dad asked where he had been. he knocked on the door and was shocked when his dad answered(normally he would be on night-shift at his job) his dad stared at him and then asked"fletcher where have you been its 11:00pm, you better of not been takin no shit with your lil homies"
"dad i havent mann ive just been at david's"
"who david kwalski, the smart guy with the glasses"
"yeah he was helping me with a project", swan looked at him supsciously and aked"so where's your project then?"... fletcher stared then explained lightly"i must of left it at his, and dad dont worry bout me im fine, im the legends son"!! swan laughed and ruffled his hair before saying"ok.. ok i believe you just dont come in at this time again and make sure you dont wake your mom and sister when your going up the stairs"
"ok dad, night"
"night son".

The next day fletcher got up and got dressed in his favourite sweats, then he went into his sister's room and crept up to her bed and shouted"WAKEY WAKEY, RISE N SHINE. YOU'VE GOT SCHOOL"!! salena rubbed her eyes and looked up at her bed-headed brother and explained"ok i heard you and dude you need to sort your fro out"
"but i aint got no fro"
"it's somethin me and my girls say instead of hair"
"thats stupid"
"your stupid" and then she tossed a pillow at him and he got the message and left her alone. he walked into the bathroom and brushed his teeth, washed his face and sorted his sandy,curly hair out, then he kissed his mom good-bye before walking down to his school.. when he was passing the park he saw zoe(twiggy's niece) and she walked beside him and said"hey fetcher"
"hey mann how you been?"
"im fine just been studying alot, i got a test in english already!"
"oh i hate test's espically english"
"yeah me too, so fletcher i was wonderin do you wanna go to the park sometime with me- i mean you dont have to if you dont wanna?", fletcher just stared at her lovely brown hair and gracious smile and said amazed"yeah-yeah i would love to go with you.. to the park, like do you wanna go today after school?" she looked at fletcher's bright white teeth and his cute but manly phisiqe and replied"sure, sure thing erm i'll be waitin here at about 4, is that ok?"
"yeah thats great". then they talked about pets and family alot until they reached the gates of coney-island high school then they both split and went to there induvidual classes and fletcher had his favourite subject of the day...GYM!!

Fletcher went into the changing rooms and got changed into his school gym kit, he was palying basket-ball today his favourite sport ever, he looked around at the large boys changing room and saw that a werid kid he knew called Raymond Kitz(he lived a few doors down from his house) was staring at his body, fletcher gave him a irratated,hollow stare and then raymond turned away and stopped looking at him for them 10minutes of getting changed. after that all of the boys(and him) as a class went in the basket-ball court inside and they got told what positions they would be playing by thier gym teacher mr.Woodburn and fletcher was center for his team, mr.woodburn tossed the ball up in the air, fletcher managed to catch it and he aggressivly passed it to corey. he watched as corey dribbled with the ball while dodging big hairy mack(he didnt have that name for nothin) and raymond and small-dunked the ball into the net then fletcher and all his team-mates ran up to him and gave him a boyish group-hug.... half an hour had passed and fletcher was sweating like a pig and he had the ball, he was going for the kill, the last point what mattered the whistle sounded and he saw all his oppenents were running at him aggressivley he dribbled past big hairy mack and was just going to make the slam-dunk when teddy rudder(he was a real bad-boy and was always getting kicked out of schools) speared into the side of him and got on top of him and started choking fletcher out, fletcher couldnt believe it and turned him around so that he was on top of teddy and he punched him violently in his face over and over again then he remembered where he was as he heard the whistle going then he saw as teddy's friend ray johnstone come running up to him and smash him in the face with his knuckles, then it went black!!!

Fletcher re-woke when he heard the school nurse call his name and he looked around and saw he was in the nurses office lying on the blue suade couch he got up and asked"what happened miss"
"fletcher you were in a fight and got punched in the face, i have manged to clean you up and you will be fine, except now you have to visit the princepal's office. i would advise you to go now mr.johnson".... fletcher nodded then went out the room and made his way to princepal dubell's office,fletcher came out that office with a grumpy expression on his face as dubell had given him a 1hour detention in gym for tommorow. he smiled again as he remembered he had a srt-of date with zoe, he quickly went back to the changing rooms and got changed before strolling all the way home after school!! Fletcher was just about to walk up the house-steps when he heard a familar voice behind him say"hey white-boy where you been?", he turned around smiling and saw that it was du-rag on his own, he went up to him and gave him some homie love, then he saw du-rag looking at his black-eye and bust-lip and he explained"oh i got into a fight in gym ha"
"thats for=real white-boy, cool, oh yeah i came to ask do wanna hangout with your new brother's tonight?"
"you know what du-rag i would love too but i gotta a date ya know what am saying"
"oh yeah i know you got some sugar haha sweet. well ok shawty i see you around ta'maw arite"
"arite bro" and with that du-rag split then fletcher went into the house and he bumped into his worrier of a mom and she screamed then said to him while craddling his face"baby what happened to your face?"
"i got into a fight maw im fine", she kissed him then replied"ok but you know i have to tell your father about this dont you?". fletcher signed and said"yeah i know" and with that they went there seperate ways(dianna probally's going to shout at selana for spilling milk all over the kitchen floor) and fletcher then went to get dressed in his lovely casual dressy NY yankee's top and dressy jeans and a lovley leather jacket, he took a last glance in the mirror to make sure he was looking fine and then he sped out the door to coney park, for his date!!!

Fletcher smiled as he saw zoe sitting on the old,mattered swings looking down at her toes, he was just getting beside her and he said going to sit next to her on the opposite swing"hey zoe here i am, 4 on the dot"!
she laughed and replied"i know you dont forget do you?"
"we would i, a girl like you to go on a date with thats the best thing ever", she gave a little small grin then asked"hey it's kinda cold do- do you want to go back to mine i just live across the street there". fletcher stared at the massive,white house she was pointing at and replied"sure lets go"!!

When they got to her's she took off her coat and invited him onto the lush green couch and they talked for what seemed like hours but was only infact 10mins and she looked into his sea-blue eyes and suddenly she grabbed hold of his hair, leaning him closer into her she started to passionatley kiss his plump,lush lips and he went along with her grasping her waist.. a couple of secounds past and zoe and fletcher grasped away from each other then he explained funnily"god you are a great kisser", she giggled and replied"you too fletcher". then they decided to watch a movie and after 2-3hours fletcher kissed her good-night and went home that night having sweet-dreams about her, zoe his girl!!

Ok guys thats chapter five for ya, as you can see not too much going on in this chapter but i did manage to sprinkle it with ROMANCE!! thanx bopper's 8)

These past few chapters have been good lady warrior, lookin' forward to seeing where you go from this - interested to see what happens with Zoe and if Fletcher will have trouble with that guy again.
