With a massive burst of anger and energy, Vermin threw his fists against a nearby brick wall in anger so hard that blood began to run down the sides of his hands. He stayed in that position, his forehead against the wall along with his hands. He was taking in deep and shuddery breaths to try and control his anger. Rembrant was still standing in the same place, looking lost and confused about what just happened. There was a shout from the side of the Warriors hideout and Snow and Cochise ran out.
"What the fuck just happened?!" Cochise shouted. Vermin dragged himself from where he was standing and began pacing back and forth.
"Those fucking Riffs just marched down here and dragged Robin and her girls back home!" Vermin exclaimed, still pacing. Snow looked to Rembrant.
"That true?" He asked. Rembrant nodded.
"Yeah, they said that Maisi ordered it" Vermin scoffed.
"Who the fuck does that guy think he is?! They share turf that doesn't mean he owns them!" he snapped.
"Look, I get what you mean but Maisi is the head of the biggest gang in the city and we're not going to interfere! Robin will have to handle this herself" Cochise said. Vermin let out a shout and once again slammed his hands against the brick wall in anger.
"Did that help?" Asked Snow.
"...Yes..."
"Did that hurt?" asked Rembrant, noticing the cuts on the side of his hand.
"...Yes" He sighed holding onto his hands.
"Come on, we'll need to tell Swan what happened" Snow said. Vermin nodded. He knew there was nothing he could do and he wasn't stupid enough to march down to Gramercy to take on all the Riff's by himself. Barely feeling Cochise' arm around his shoulder, he slowly shuffled towards the side entrance of the Warriors hang out.
-----------------
"This is bullshit!" Robin snapped, not for the first time, while marching towards the Riffs part of Gramercy. Her girls had almost started a Riot while on the subway but Robin had decided she would save all of her rage for when she spoke to Maisi face to face. How dare he decided to 'bring her home' when she was nothing to do with him. They weren't even close friends. She glared at any Riff who dared look her direction, let alone try and stop her storming into Maisi's lesson. She found him training a room full of Riffs, all of them following his direction and watching him intently.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU PLAYING AT?!" She shouted, her voice bouncing off the concrete walls, floor and ceiling. She stopped close to him, her hands on her hips and her foot tapping impatiently. He stopped what he was doing and he nodded to the Riffs who all began to filter out of the building.
"Robin, so you got home safely" He said. Her mouth hung open, unable to believe he could be so passive about what he had just done.
"Are you kidding me? You know I did cause you left me no choice! If I didn't come home your boys were going to beat those Warriors to a pulp!" She exclaimed. She couldn't tell what Maisi was thinking, his eyes hidden by the mirrored sunglasses so all she was looking at was her own angry face. She couldn't even tell from his mouth, his jaw was set tight.
"I was concerned for your safety. Some of my boys told me that one of the Warriors had done something to make you angry and you were going down to take care of it. I know how your temper can get you in trouble" He said. She blinked a few times, taking in what he had just said before shaking her head.
"so you're going to justify marching down to another gangs territory and causing upset by saying it was for my girls and me?" He shook his head.
"Just for you" he said quietly. There was an awkward silence and Robin sighed, her face softening and her temper starting to drain away.
"Just...Promise me you will leave the Warriors alone. They havn't done anything wrong and you have no buisness with them" she said quietly.
"So long as they don't do anything to upset the Riffs, they'll be fine. I still have a lot of respect for them" He snapped, the brief moment of weakness he had shown was now gone.
"Well they won't, but next time...I want my buisness to stay my buisness!" She spat before turning on her heel and walking away, leaving Maisi standing alone watching her walk away.
----------------
"Ow!" Vermin hissed as Mercy was cleaning the wounds on the side of his hands. He was sitting on one of the old sofas while Mercy sat opposite him on the low table. Snow sat on the other sofa while Cochise was standing watching Swan pace back and forth.
"What were you thinking bringing them back here?!" Swan said to Vermin. He winced at the cleaning lotion going onto his raw skin before answering.
"I didn't bring her back, they came by themselves!" He said "I'm not going into it but me and Robin had a disagreement and she came down here to yell at me but we fixed it and I guess Maisi doesn't like that she's into someone thats not him!" Mercy smiled to herself. It was sweet in its own way but god, if it wasn't complicated. Swan sighed.
"Vermin, you know what this could do to us? The Riffs are the biggest gang in the city! They could invade and take us all out!" Swan said throwing himself down on the sofa opposite Vermin. Mercy grabbed the tissues and the lotion she had been using to clean Vermins hands and she moved out of the way. This wasn't a conversation she wanted a part of.
"It was only the girls that they came for, Maisi's puppet made that clear" Vermin said deadpan. There was the sound of the door slamming shut and Rembrant walked in with a smile on his face.
"What are you so happy about?" Cochise asked. Rembrant walked over and sat next to Vermin, the smile still on his face.
"I just got of the phone with Melody. All of them are fine and Robin gave Maisi an earful" He said. Vermin gave a small smile, feeling a little bit better knowing that they were all safe but he couldn't help but be disappointed that there wasn't anything else.
"So....she..Uh didn't meantion anything about..."
"You?" Rembrant said, finishing the sentence for him "She said that Robin has done nothing but mope around" Vermin grinned.
"Really? Thats awsome!" Mercy raised an eyebrow in question.
"You think it's awsome that shes upset?" Vermin nodded.
"yeah, it means she misses me! Why?" Mercy just shook her head.
"I'm not going to waste my breath explaining it to you, i'd be here all year" Rembrant just stood looking confused.
"I don't get girls...." Swan patted him on the shoulder in sympathy.
"Believe me, it doesn't get any better"

She had to admit, as much as she didn't want to, the Ciggarette was helping. She had tried to quit but every time something the least bit stressful came up she found herself sparking up. She took another drag and exhaled, watching the smoke swirl away in the early evening summer light. Control of the Harlots affairs had gone to Melody for the night, Robin needed some time to think. One part of her was a true street girl. The Harlots leader. She had her whole gang and everyone who was connected to her gang to think about and she hated the feeling that she'd had put them in danger. Another part of her was a normal young woman who was stuck in a love triangle.
"Heh, a love triangle that could start a gang war" she muttered to herself, taking a long drag before flicking the end of her ciggarette away. There was a figure walking towards her but she couldn't see who it was. She readied herself to spring up and attack if she needed to but soon relaxed when she recognised the face.
"Can I join you?" The man said. He was tall and well built, dressed in a black Gi. Robin smiled up at him.
"Knock yourself out" She said, pulling another ciggarette from the packet and lighting up.
"Smoking? You must be stressed" He said. Robin rolled her eyes and offered him a drag that he took.
"This whole thing with Maisi is just really getting to me Mike" She said quietly, sound tired. Mike nodded and handed her back the ciggarette.
"He is very fond of you, you know. He really does just do what is best" Robin scoffed "No really, he just isn't good at showing affection in a...traditional way" He said. Robin took one last drag and flicked her ciggarette end, watching it bounce along the road, sparks flying as it did so.
"yeah, instead of sending flowers he sends 6 of his boys to drag me home. Lovely" she muttered. Mike laughed.
"Well...it wasn't too smooth i'll admit that...but, what about this Vermin guy" Robin raised and eyebrow.
"What about him?" She asked, suspicious. Mike shrugged.
"Well? Whats going on? Are you together? Dating? Screwing?" Robin frowned at the last comment then softened and shrugged.
"I don't know...I know I like him. He makes me smile, he makes me laugh" Mike laughed.
"And what about Maisi?" he asked. Robin's smile fell and she sighed.
"I...value his friendship for a start. He's just so serious. I've never seen him smile or laugh or even snigger! It's always the same stern expression..." She trailed off. Another figure was walking towards them and this time Robin could see exactly who it was. It was Maisi. He stopped infront of Robin and Mike who both stood up, Mike excusing himself and leaving the two leaders alone.
"Maisi, what can I do for you?" Robin asked. Miasi took in a deep breath before looking towards the floor. For a moment Robin seemed to see a hint of Nerves but she brushed it aside.
"I...I've come to apologise for my behaviour" He said bluntly "It was wrong of me to bring you back against your will and i'm very sorry" Robin smiled and nodded.
"Well, i'm appreciate that. Thank you" She said. Maisi nodded and stepped forward.
"I would like to take this oppertunity to treat you more like a friend and less like a gang leader. I think if we got to know each other a little better, this opperation will run a little more smoothly" He said, a faint smile appearing on his face that made Robin grin.
"I'd like that Maisi" He didn't say anything after that. He only gave a small bow and began to walk away back to his area of Gramercy. With a grin she pulled the Ciggarette packet from her pocket, viewing the contents before throwing it into the trash can in the side alley as she walked home.

Re: The Gramercy Harlots - Part 3
I don't really like stories that finish in only a few paragraphs. I like to map things out and build up my characters.
I know exactly whats going to happen the whole way through right till the very end. It's not going to be 50 chapters long but it's not going to finish in the next chapter either
