Best scene in a movie

One of my favorite scenes in a movie was in Clerks.  The whole dead guy in the bathroom and the girl thinking it was Dante (her boyfriend) in the dark bathroom the whole time.

Very interesting topic Lions!  There are a few from Little Miss Sunshine but one of them is the best...after leaving a gas station in a broken down van that has to be pushed in order to start...a few minutes rolls by while they're on the highway when Dwayne (who takes a vow of silence throughout half of the movie) writes in his notepad and hands it over to Frank (Steve Carell) and he reads "Where's Olive?"...the looks on their faces can tell they've realized they left Olive (the little girl) back at the gas station! So they went back and pulled her in without stopping the van...Hilarious!

Yes I remember that scene.  I do like her little dance that her grandpa thought her.

My favorite scene in the Predator was when Arnold took on the Predator in the end. It was a good fight. I like to watch it over and over. I would just rewind it once the predator blows himself up.

Heres a clip. I was lucky to find this one.

Cool! She was the only real girl in that competition...all those little girls looked like fake plastic dolls...her dance  was the best one there...and nobody saw that but her own family and a few others!

Another favorite of mine, is from the low budget film The Very Thought Of You (aka, Martha, meet Frank, Daniel, and Laurence).  When Joseph Finnes is asked to described the feeling of being in love, he gets lost in the thought of a woman he had met the night before, while describing the feeling of being in love.

hmm...great thread.

Speaking in a matter of comedy, my favorite scene is in Clerks II, where Randal makes a Lord of the rings-loving customer spew up after making fun of it so much...

In a matter of violence, it'd have to be the scene in Sin City- Marv vs. Kevin #2. Very brutal indeed.

my favourite scene is from the end of Alien VS Predator when the little baby alien/predator bursts out of the main predators body on his death bed

Mine would have to be from that movie "In the Heat of the Night", where Sydney Poitier slapped that white guy back in the fcae.  I always liked the chase scene from The Road Warrior.  That oil tanker scene will forever go down in history.

The Thing. The blood test scene, safe to say it has everyone on the edge of their seats their first time seeing it.

Sharkskin Man and Peach Hip Girl. Hotel lobby gun fight, and the forest gun fight.

Kingdom of Heaven. The offense defense siege, and the small group vs. the police or whatever.

They Live, the long fight scene.

I am the Cheese. The ending.

Big Trouble in Little China. The gang fight in the alley.

Saving Private Ryan. D-Day.

Very good topic!!!
Well all the "The Warriors" scenes!!!
But another very cool movie scene? Well to me, is in The GodFather Part III:
during Little Italy Fest, when Vince as a cop by horse shoots Corleone's enemy telling to him "za za!!!", or something similar!!!
Wow Vince-Andy Garcia is simply perfect 4 that part... I mean his facial expression...Wow!!!
That's just my best scene!!! 8)

Another scene would be.......When the Tremor Brothers have that fight with the cops in 'Smokin Aces'.

And....Desperado, all the gun fight scenes were pretty cool....but the movies is a bit dated.

Is that the one with 'Mad Max' because if I'm correct, is that an Australian movie? If I am right, in Australia, it's actually called Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. I'm probably wrong.  :?
