Snakes On A Plane

This is how you make a movie:

1. Call it Snakes on a Plane - that is the plot of the movie.

2. Get Samuel L Jackson to star in it.

3. Change the name of the film to Pacific Air Flight 121.

4. Change it back to Snakes on a Plane as that's the only reason SLJ wants to be in it.

5. Have one massive cult internet following before the movie has started shooting.

6. Fans demand SLJ to utter "I want these mother******* snakes off the mother******* plane"

7. Producers agree to put that line in the movie.

8. End result is one mega-hyped film and perhaps one of the greatest film quotes in history.  8)

Can't wait to see this!

 like we didn't already have enough reason to believe Hollyweird has gotten tremendously lazy

But my friend Storm, you are missing the point here. We are at the dawn of the new technolgical age. In this internet age normal fans now have a larger role in the filmmaking process because the space between them and the directors has shrunk. You can download professional-grade editing software onto your computer through torrents.

50 years ago, heck, even just 10 years ago filmmakers were regarded as gods, now they are almost like any other person because we know everything they do in their processes now. Just look at the way we talk about Tony Scott, how we are "petition-ing to stop the remake." it's an interesting age we live.

Oh, and I heard that they listened to the fans and changed the entire script to a collection of f-bombs. Makes sense, what's the point in having Sam Jackson in a movie if he can't curse?

Just saw the movie at 10 tonight and used the ol' SEARCH function here and i have to say it's one of the better times i've had at the theatres this year (i haven't seen Talladega Nights yet, so my view is kinda off i guess).

Its the kind of movie that you should only see with a room full of people that are crazy for it. it was a blast and everyone was laughing and cheering at the most and least innapropriae prts.

This movie has Sam Jackson, gratuitous nudity for the sheer sake of it, a firefight, kickboxer guys that say "hiyaah!", and dirt bikes doing wheelies. Everything. This movie matches the unrated "Pirates" for sheer ridiculous awesomeness in a movie.

And when Samuel L. Jackson finally days the line......it's the most epic thing....

The movie is very tongue in cheek, and keep your eyes out for snake skin boots, snake skin bags, etc.

Just returned on a greatjourney from the pictures, went to see this. it was amazing, Big Sam is a classic actor and to be honest if he wasnt in it i don't think i would of loved it like did. every minute was enjoyable, don't let the name put you off its deffinately worth watching.
