I thought the movie was great. It was a lot to take in at some points. And -***SPOILER***(Dont read the next part if you dont want to know anything aout the movie)- never liked the bit when the guy is punishing himself when praying, with the whip and the thing on his leg. Apparently the movie stayed very close to the book, which I intend on reading soon. It really had an impact on me but, 'cause just imagine that is true. That there is secret societys, and Jesus had a son and all that. Its actually quite frightening, and it shows us that we fear what we dont understand ('Semi-quote from the movie) Lol.

If all the things from the Da Vinci Code where true, it would shatter the catholic church. it is a hard story to follow, but it is realy shocking what its about. I'm a Catholic and have been brought up to believe in what the Bible says, but if all the stuff in the Da Vinci Code where true, all the things millions of people around the world believe in would be one great lie.

In my school, my friend got roasted off near enough every teacher for bringing the book in and reading it at dinner time. (my school wasn't a strict school but when it came down to this people were getting suspended ) pointless story but it just shows how much controvercy it has caused.

Oh man! It was quite possibly the worst movie I've seen in my life. Man it was SO boring. The book was good. And the movie followed the book exactly, except it was really boring. I don't see how they did it but they did a good job of turning a good book into an awfully boring movie.

What everybody has to understand is that this is a work of fiction. Its just a suggestion, so basically the Catholic church has no right to try to ban it. Thats like them banning the Warriors because Rembrandt used the Lords name in vain a couple of times. But as far as the movie went, it was medicore in my mind.
