O.k., this has been a favorite movie of mine. I love the details of the film; the characters, motorcycles, and of course the cars. Charlie's voice amplifier is one highlight of the movie for me. The original movie poster is also great!!! Mel Gibson was so cool back in that film, now he is just lame to me. Anyways type away of what you think of this film. Oh, please just comment on Mad Max, I don't want to discuss anything about the other 2 "Mad Max" or other Mel Gibson's films.

I love the whole beginning scene when they're trying to catch the "Night Rider" .
It's funny, i saw it again not too long ago and i forgot how ruthless some of the
scenes were and of the script had some awesome lines (like the hand one metioned above, lol)
Over all i think its one of those movies i can watch over and over again.
For those of you that have never seen this film go here and check it out for youself

LOTRC - i love the Aussie dialog for the Mad Max film. the overdubbed English version sounds lame!

I like the Mad Max movies too. They captured a good sci-fi idea with the survival of humans after a bigass war. The idea was good and it worked well enough for several movies. I loved tina Turner in Thunderdome too! There's been lots of other sci-fi movies that use the same theme- after the big one. 8)

I just htought that I'd bring this movie up again. I don't know, there this dark feeling that seems to come from Mad Max, that almost makes it real. I realized that in the beginning of the film, it said, "the near future...sooner than you think." It makes you wonder, is this the society, that we already live in. The villians were so phycotic. Like when the Toe Cutter, puts his arm around Johnny the boy, and walks in the water with him (I wonder what he was doing with him), or right before they drag that innocent guy on the motorcycle, the two guys say, "push me shuve you, oh yeah says who...push me suve you, oh yeah says who". While watching this movie, it really makes you think. While some of us in society, do our best to cope with life, and ytry to live in happiness, our hopes and dreams are shattered, and destroyed turning us into vengeful zombies, without emtions. We loose identity of who we are, and what love and compassion used to be like, becuase of our veangeful side.

Love this movie. Although some would find it boring, but it's good! And either I'm nuts or the leader of the biker gang was in Joe Dirt.

But anyways, one of my favorite Mel Gibson films and it's a classic.
