what kind of movie is it?
a thriller? action? comedy? drama?
i should've also posted about the 3 movies i listed...
equilibrium - action sci-fi, starring christian bale(new batman), take place in the future, where the human population has changed for the worse. think if the nazi's were to have children with vulcans. the plot sucks but the action is unreal
ong bak thai warrior - kung-fu action to the fullest! theres no words to describe the awesomeness of this flick. and no, this is not another my teacher is murdered so i must avenge him flick. the stunts are off the hook. its a foreign flick so you have to endure some subtitles.
mean guns - action and ultra violent, starring chirs lambert(highlander), some dude i don't know, and cho-san(karate kid part 2), cameo by Ice-T. all the hardcore criminals get locked in a jail and offered a big cash prize, one catch, there can be only one winner.

I'm with you on Ong Bak.
I was freakin' amazing and utterly impressed by Tony Jaa's moves.
The fight scenes are like no other, my dad, brother, and I were just "aweing" every move Tony pulled off.

Ong Bak was really good.
I was just disappointed that Tony Jaa isn't really amsrtial artists in the truest sense. He dabbed a little in martial arts, but only when his role in Ong Bak was confirmed did he actually start doing Muay Thai. Still great stuff though.
Wasn't it nasty when the saw dude broke Humlae's arm? It was nasty, but it made me really happy when Tony broke that sucker's leg in two.

Equilibrium was an excellent movie. That and American Psycho are my favorite movies of Christian Bale. Brotherhood of the Wolf was another favorite that was not given the proper attention.
Others:
Ed Wood
Buffalo '66
Fear
Night Watch

I've got quite a few
Friday (all-black comedy starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker as two mates who spend a day smoking weed)
Boondock Saints (super-cool gunfight movie about two Irish dudes who take on the mob. Plenty of violence.)
A Better Tomorrow 1 & 2 (heavy-duty Hong Kong action dramas with great gunfights)
Brazil (weird movie which I'm particularly fond of about a society where everything goes apeshit)
Repo Man (another weird movie like Brazil about a car with a radioactive corpse in the boot that's worth $20,000)
Clerks (funny-ass low-budget comedy with great dialogue)
Will come up with more later. I have heaps.

the vault
based in some high school in america.his vault in the celler unhearths evil spirits that kill most of the students.the caretaker/security guard is a ghost himself and even he gets bumped off.
its a wierd story with a twist in the way of how they get rid of the evil spirits.

Sword of Doom - I just rewatched it and did a body count -- 115 people get wasted, 90 by the main character alone
Kill! - another fun samurai flick
Deathrace 2000 - seriously people...they line up old people....in front of a hospital........they run them down in cars with spikes in the front......AWESOME
Mad Max - though pretty well known, doesn't get the recognition it deserves for it's photography
Versus - it dissolves into crapulence later on, but the first half is a fun stylish zombie kung-fu romp
The Big Red One - great
mr. USA - hard to find, but a wierd parody
And for a more mainstream wrap-up.....
Solaris
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Basically any non Seven Samurai Kurosawa film
Mean Streets
Who's That Knocking at my Door?
Though to be honest I wouldn't recommend Equilibrium, (i hate that kind of gunplay) I liked how direct and fast the ending katana part was.
more to come......

Yeah, that was sick, I thought when Tony ended up with the saw in his forearm/wrists was pretty gross.

Versus is very nice, it is also very funny.
Brazil is very strange, then again it was made by one of the Monty Python dudes.
