kevin smith is one of the best and unrecognised directors of the 20th centery

Clerks is one of those movies that you could just listen to. The dialogue is really well written. I enjoy several different parts including the Star Wars dialogue.

jay and silent bob strike back for me. Mainly because those are the 2 characters I like to see in all of Kevins movies, dont really care about the others.

Is it true that Kevin Smith wrote a Superman script? He is a huge comic book reader and would at least try to be true to that. Now that I think of it, I'm surprised there has never been a Warriors Comic. That would certainly be cool.

He sure did but decided to abandon the project. From IMDb:

" After seeing Mallrats (1995), in which TS and Brodie exchange about Superman's reproductive habits, Jon Peters hired Kevin Smith to write the doomed project "Superman Lives" (2000). Warner executives, told Smith to cut a romantic scene between Superman and Lois on Mt. Rushmore. Kevin complained said, "This has the best dialogue in the script." Executives responded, "This is a toy movie. People don't care how good the dialogue is."

"toy movie?" Man, that is harsh for a true fan to hear.
