Just saw it and thought it had great special effects, matrix like theme of reality plot.  I thought it was a good movie.  What do you all think?

haven't seen it and probably won't all because of that overrated untalented "actor" named leonardo decrapio. 

I can't think of a bad film with him in!

Many actors who start young often have difficulty being accepted for more mature roles

Leo appears to have transcended that boundary (although Lion would not agree!)

He's certainly become brilliant though. I don't know when he matured but Catch Me If You Can is the first film where I was captivated by his performance.

I was also about to laud his performance in CMiYC, but ya beat me to it

I saw it and thought it was a great flick - a real mind trip, despite Leo being in it. That said, he has matured as an actor since his "Titanic" days, much in the same way that John Cusack has matured since "Better Off Dead" (not that there was anything wrong with that film, but Cusack has grown as an actor since that movie).

That said - how about the trailers shown before that movie? "The Town" looks pretty good, from the same director as "Gone Baby Gone" and "The Departed". I guess this one makes a Boston trilogy?

I also thought that CMIYC was his first movie where i thought, whoa Dicaprio's good.
I know not a lot of people liked Gangs Of New York, but i also thought his performance and the film were great.

I wonder if The Town will have occasional cursing in it...

damn i miss the days when you could count on joe pesci beating up the same guy in every scorsesse film

i just don't think he can act.  he gets roles that don't go well with him and then he kills them as he tries too hard to be portray his character.
