I saw this film last year, I thought it was quite a good film. Watched it again this year, it's my new favorite film. Anyone else like it? I especially thought Jack Nicholson's perfomance in the film was fantastic.

Well, yeah they made a very good movie!!!
Not too bad, I'd also say: very peculiar!!!
... and... maybe a sequel?!!! A Trilogy!?!!

I want to see this movie my friend told me about it has the second most kills ever in a movie.

Saw it at the movies with my friend thought it was great a whole lot of action.

Dislike Jack Nicholson.  Didn't care for this movie.

Well, I'll tell what fratello, if Scorsese hadn't used too many mainstream actors, maybe it would of been good.  The focus on the actors takes the value away from the film.  Also he used actors who couldn't pass as menacing, Leo with his kid face, Wahlbergh who has no talent at all, Damon who tried so hard to fake that Boston accent (isn't he from Boston?) and Nicholson who just doesn't look threatening.  But that' just me!

About the topic, yeah Brother , I told u that if u don't like the actor is another story.
I mean, yeah if u don't like him... ok, you don't like him.
About "Nicholson who just doesn't look threatening"... indeed I've to say, even I liked the movie, his performane just seemed a little bit "tired"( )... far away from, 4 istance, The Shining one.

Nicholson was good in his day, but he's just become a parody of himself.  I cant think of anything from the past twenty years that he's been in that was good.

Western remakes of far easten cinema just doesnt cut it with me.  You can throw as much special effects and big budget at it as you want, but they always seem to lose the grittiness and the heart of what was the original.

I'll stick to infernal affairs.

I've heard of that. Is it good? I know it's the original, I just wanted to make sure. Would you recommend me see it?
