Modern Horror Movies... as good as the old ones?
Re: Modern Horror Movies... as good as the old ones?
Well, when you first watched, Friday the13th, you saw it from one perspective, then when you're older, it's different. It's the opposite with normal movies. Like, the first time I saw the Godfather, I didn't really get it. Now I see it as being great. Now when I see Friday the 13th, I think it's awful.

the thing that I dont get is all the gore in horor movies. If you ask me horor should be about shock and freek affects. Gore movies should be in a whole different genre. maybe [glow=red,2,300]sik[/glow]. movies like saw, texas chainsaw massecre, friday the 13th, would be way better without all the gore. I know some movies need a little bit of gore because some of it adds to the freek factor, but not to the extent to where they are showing a pole go through a guys eye socket, or a guy getting his leg chopped off.
