white heat with james cagney is my all time fav gangster movie followed by the untouchables.

this is gonna sound boring now, but...LOLOL

THE GODFATHER SERIES is the best
you can watch either one of them and completely ignore when they were made
its like, they have the same cinematography, the same colours, the same atmosphere
timeless  8)

but, of course....

I wanna say Reservoir Dogs, but in reality it isn't really a gang film. Just a bunch of hired specialist hired for a job. None of them even know each other. Hell they were a temporary gang, so yeah The Dogs.
