Troma Films
Anybody else here love Troma films? If so, what are your favorites and least favorites?
My favorite is Surf Nazis Must Die (Hook rules) and Class of Nuke Em High is second. The worst, in my opinion, is Blood Sucking Freaks. It has no plot, just mindless gore and sadism.

I've never really "got" Troma. I can understand why people love that stuff so much but it does very little for me. I hated Toxic Avenger. I remember thinking Nuke Em High and Tromeo and Juliet were fun, and I fucking love Cannibal! The Musical but out of what I've seen thats it.
I haven't seen Surf Nazis Must Die but I want to just because of the title, lol.

Hey Ben, don't worry, there's still hope for you (lol, that sounds funny). The Toxic Avenger is overrated, in my opinion, but Surf Nazis Must Die KICKS ASS!!!!! Please, watch it any way you can. It's an underrated gem.

Troma films are these extremely cheesey often outlandishly gorey movies with weird titles like Tammy and the T-Rex Captain Kabuki Tromeo and Juliet among othersthe wigan warrior wrote: What are Troma films, I have never heard of them![]()

Re: Troma Films
Well, I bought the Director's Edition of Surf Nazis Must Die!. I really think it's an awesome movie. Too bad I can't convice anyone else to watch it.
The special feauters were great on there too. It's got the T.I.T. Test, a tour of troma stuidos and a trailer for some other movies.
My new mission in life is to watch The Toxic Avenger and Class of Nuke 'Em High. (their trailers were on the features too.)

Re: Troma Films
after wanting to see Troma films forever I finally got my chance tonight. there is an exclusive channel on DirecTV that is showing cheesey horror movies all month and tonight they showed Toxic Avenger 1 and 2. I loved them instantly all though they were edited.

Re: Troma Films
Troma films are like Grindhouse films fro the 70's. Cheesey acting, sorry plot and awful quality. But overall very entertaining because these guys took (take) this stuff very seriously. I collect some of these myself. They have some Mexican ones too and Brazilian. I guess every country has them.
