I dont know if there is a topic on this, i done abit of searching and found nothing about it. if there is something on this already it may be locked etc.. if there already is one.

Ok, I was just wondering everyones oppinion if the new Warriors movie will be in the top of the movie charts.  I think it may as it is a fairly well known movie already and the quality of the movie should be Great, attracting new viewers!!
plz leave ur oppinion. 

I guess it will depend on how good the movie will be.It will also depend a lot on a proper advertising and promotion of the movie.I think it would probably be better to release the movie in 2009.,cos that way it will coincide with the 30th anniversary of the original movie release. Anyway,it's still early to speculate about that.

I don't care if it does you can't go to walter hill ask can I make a movie based on the warrior, call it the warriors and only have about three things in common with the whole thing.

This is a fact....NO it will not climb the charts.

Well I agree you and Baby Bear, even my answer is NO, no chance 4 climbimg the charts!!!!
1979 "The Warriors" was/is/will be like a poem.... that's all!!! 8)

Believe it or not the movie will likely hit in the top area of the movie chart considering even some of the most lamest movies take for example Highschool Musiccal 2 ......

Anyways I don't see why people are still wondering if its based on the original version anyway just because it has the word The Warriors and only maybe 2 or 3 things related to the original doesnt mean its based off the original. Now if they actually do plan to make it off the original then id say the movie will hit off the chart considering in todays movie era alot of the newer movies that come out usually does... "movie of the year.... movie of the yeaaaarr"

yes it will hit the top i think, but people will say "wooo have you seen the warriors quality film" and you would be like " i prefer the 1979 version the original the the best" and no one will know about the 1979 version, only most of us on the forums. that would well annoy me

Well i now that i finally figured out its not a remake i think it might not be that big, after a long time of thinking i've reached a decision, im going against the remake now, i always thought it was an actuall remake but just found out its a kinda takeoff!!!

its good you aint against quite a few people are. but yeah ive heard it aint a remake aswell. personally i think its taking a long time to b made and im second 2nd thoughts to it even being made, was supposed to be this year it came out i think.

probably not. it won't get to the top, maybe close but not the top.

I'm sticking to my theory that if a remake should happen, it will be released direct to video. Just my opinion.

If you mean like a sorta TV Show (for istance, 2 episodes)... well, maybe it would be a better move!!! Yeah, IMO a more acute "Business" choice... 8)

maybe a 2 part tv series feature lentgh episods would be a better move than a remake what you guys think?
