i think that if they made the remake into a sequel instead it would instantly hit on. i mean if it started out with a man walking towards the beach and it slowly pans up and you see his vest, slightly weathered with the old warriors logo and then he walks to a big group of warriors and they al have different vests on and as he gets closer he realises swan is dead in the center and as he asks what happened you immediatly see who it is as ajax is standing over him. (it doesnt have to be swan that died it could be any of the old warriors) ajax finds out that the rogues returned 25 years after luther was killed and seeked revenge on the warriors so ajax gets a new group of warriors along with some of the old ones and they travel to the rougues hunting ground to finish the fued once and for all. i think it would be extra good if you see some of the gangs from back then and stuff along the way and just say ajax group is in trouble and out of knowhere snowball cmes and saves them. that in my opionion would be a kick ass movie.

your thoughts?

well i cant say i hate the idea but 1 james remar is way to old to be beating up people, 2 if it was just the warriors against the rogues with some cameo gangs it wouldnt be that good in my oppinon and 3why would the rogues want revenge 25 years later

Well even if they did a sequel---it would have to start right away1979/80--and they would have to cast new actors into old characters and that would lead to way too many comparisons.

Cause the above point about the original characters is true---they are all way too grown to still be involved with street gangs---they may not be all families/with kids trying to make a living ---but they are way too old to be hangin on a street corner.
Would not make any sense.

So I can't see a sequel---besides---there is nothing to go on with!
When the original movie ended--the only loose end not tied up was Ajax.
and he will make it home when his time is up.
I mean, the Riffs acknowledged the WArriors were GOOD and the Warriors got home, and the Rogues got what they had coming. So where would the story to be told come from??

I wouldn't really mind a sequel. It'd be neat to see what happens to The Warriors. I'd like to see if the Furies were plotting there revenge.
