Alot of music celebritys including rap artists love the movie the warriors. If Mtv is making this remake you can bet they will cast some well know rappers and rockers for charecters. If you ever seen the music video by D12 called Fight music you will see the warriors influence to the way the video was made. hmmm... eminem is the lead singer of the group D12. Do ya think he will be in the movie and on the soundtrack? Probilly Mtv loves eminem so much they might let him in on it.

Hopefully, the main characters like the Warriors will be played by real actors who can actually act. If they must use rappers have them be in the background as other gang members.
Also I'm sure the soundtrack will have more than it's share of rap songs. With rap being as popular as it is that would be the smart move by MTV to draw in new fans who might never have seen the original (as hard as it may be to believe, we ARE in the minority)
I'm just hoping for a remixed version of the original Warriors theme.

I posted almost a year ago about my remix..I guess it 's about time i display it to the world..I spent a week on that track..I'm very proud of it..I just wanted to wait til it comes out on my mix cd..because its one of the tracks included..its technically a mash-up..because the beat source came from a Timo Maas track..I'll be secretive about the rest of the details until i decide to launch it ..As far as actors being selected for the remake?..I believe they should be all new casts that no one 's ever heard of, but kick major ass in the delivery field..catch my drift?...Until next time boppers..be lookin good..be lookin good. I'm distant nephew of James Remar..I dissapeared there for awhile because of the fact that i dabble into so many things as far as entertainment goes..but i am narrowing it down to recording music/releasing cd's..performing live(Dj or Vocals)..and acting..I'll have a AIM or Yahoo Messenger tag soon..If any one wants to reach me in that fashion than go to My Space.com..My URL is mesteez..I'm still updating my page there as i speak,so please be patient..Any one can IM me there just like AIM works(as long as you see me logged on with the red indicator light)..I'm really down to chat with people from over seas..but open to all, especially my fellow Warriors..I'm back to Coney...Mez

I would definitely wouldn't mind some death/black metal, but knowing how MTV came to screw up metal, I would not be surprised if they come up with some bs as Nu-metal and Insdustrial crap.
It is interesting, though, that the original music for the first one was mostly rock. By 79 you could expect some disco in it, but there wasn't any. That introduction when the whole bunch is getting in the train is just exceptional.
