This has probably already been said but I want to put my point across.

I think their decision to do a complete differant version of the movie was the worst decision they could of made, because everybody will be trying to compare it to the original movie, and at the end of the day, if its using the name The warriors and they have jackets like the warriors its gonna be a remake, even if its just a loose one.

Thats what I thought when I heard that this new warriors movie is not a remake.
now adays whenever someone remakes a movie the new movie is usually set in 2006 or whatever year the movie was made.

I think it will probably be VERY stupid... but hey...How do we know if it really is going to suck? What if it's a big hit?

When I heard there was going to be a remake, one word came to mind: LAME!

They shouldnt make this movie period.

i think they should make the new movie the same as the book you know, like all the same charecters and every thing that happend and stuff

there is no more originality leave a classic alone please

My original thinking after hearing it was gonna be set in 2006 in Los Angeles was " What the hell are they thinking? " but then I realized how not all remakes are bad, like Dawn of The Dead... I liked that... But then I never saw the original... >_>...

Well, the point is, let's wait until it's released. It'll never be as good as The Warriors ( Because according to me, NOTHING is. ) , but it may be good in it's own rights.

that sux, but hey the movie "should" be pretty good...

I hope you'll forgive my pessismism, but this movie- if it's ever made- is likely to follow the usual Hollywood formula. So it won't be great.

I could look forward to it if it were being done my somebody fresh (remember Danny Boyle before he got a bit rich?), but studios are not taking chances anymore so it'll be bankable names and predictable outcomes. For me to say otherwise would be, in my view, the triumph of hope over experience
