Quit Dogg'n it!

I just have to say one thing to all the people that are doggin the remake, [glow=red,2,300]QUIT[/glow]. You have not seen it yet so quit giving it a bad image. I am not all for the remake, but it is going to happen. And I apologise ahead of time if it comes out and does suck, but I ask to stop the doggin till it comes out.

-They changed the location
-They took away all the iconic and classic gangs
-The are replacing said gangs with real gangs such as crips and bloods
-They are changing many of the characters
-They are setting it in modern day time
Now, by taking away everything that made The Warriors so great, you're telling me it's not going to suck? Sure, as a stand alone, mainstream, generic and abysmal gang action movie it may be decent. If that's what you had in mind.

First of all, I did not say it wasnt going to suck. And second, It probably will suck, but its not like any of us are going to stop this movie from being made. So all we can do is watch it happen, and what also sucks is the fact that I am going to see it, but I have to just for the fact that it is a remake no matter what everybody says.

I don't exactly like the idea of TOny Scott basicly stealing the title and plot of a classic film and then not incorporating any of the aspects in the classic that made it so popular. But I will probubly see the new movie, because Tony Scott is a great director and he has some pretty good ideas for this new movie.

Um Who are you again? What do you work for Tony Scott and are trying to get us to stop make fun of his rip off of a great movie. One Reason we keep on as you like to say Dogg'n it is because They Changed the gangs, location, Characters, Everything but are still keeping the title.

Ok, say he was to make an exact remake of the original. Do you realy think that todays society would be able to relate to the sort of cheesey gangs, and outrageous uniforms that are in the movie, I dont think so. What Tony Scott is doing is takeing arguabley one of the greatest stories ever made, and making it to something that the public today can understand. He wants to make it more real.

Hey SHM I dont want to start no stuf with this. I love the original and dont want it remade either. My point is that people are makeing it a big deal to give it a bad image and try to get it not to be made, but it is going to happen no matter what. I mean most remakes will never be as good as the original, but the are made because all great movies desserve a sucky remake. Dont ask me why thats just how it is.
