The girl warrior

She could be the Next rembrandt for the movie. I mean lots of us are tired of seeing the tough girl in movies we wanna see a girl who will fight but still not like a army recruit maybe if she might take rembrandts role.

ok here's where i am gonna catch flack from the female member's but here goes, i do not want a chick warrior!! sorry, but i am so tired of watching guy's get beat up by girl's. i mean i understand why after 1000 or so years of abuse. but still, i don't fight with girls and any half a man don't either! i have a simple i don't hit u, u don't hit me philosophy. but, i don't care how many kickboxing classes j lo takes, she aint kickin my a** neither is any other chick. sorry ladies. i'm kinda old fashioned i still like women that are just that women, not women trying to be men. do women like men that are trying to be women? and not as just shopping buddies! lol

I, for one, absolutely agree with you. IMHO - there's no need to have one of the female warriors going to the conclave. it would be an unnecessary distraction and take away from the original story. there are movies where it's fine, even important to have women fighters, like in 'kill bill'. but 'the warriors' is about 'going in there like everybody else, 9 guys, no weapons'.

i think even the warriors themselves were against women fighting. for example, at the end, swan tells mercy that he's going to lead the rogues down to the beach and he wants her to cut out through the back. she keeps arguing with him about going along 'till he finally more or less says, what ever. if they thought women should be rumblin' he would have handed her a weapon. NO WOMEN WARRIORS!

Agreed, agreed, agreed! In law class it was discussed how even if they guy is barely five feet tall and the woman is like Chyna from WWF (or WWE?), the guy who hits a woman is as good as locked up. There's no need for that.

But let's be honest, that scene with the Punks when Mercy takes a chomp out of the Punk's shoulder was hilarious!

thanks so much 4 understanding ladies!!! i gotta admit after the post i got off line real quick!! lol i can't help it i still like women to be soft, not tough. if i wanna scrap i'll go find some dude! now i am not saying i don't like a confident woman and a secure woman, but i like being a guy! (i know it has not been popular since the late 60's) lol and i like women to be, well women! thanx again ladies! and u can be my mercy any day!!!!!!

I have nothing against women, but think there shouldn't be a female warrior. Females should only be in the lizzies and Mercy and the radio dj. I must also say that there shouldn't be a male radio dj. No offence against anyone and I'm not being sexist, I'm just saying that I want the movie to be as it was.

I've got to disagree with everyone else. By all means, theres nothing wrong with a female warrior. I've also got a problem with the whole "women shouldn't be fighting" attitude the rest of the board has. Women are just as much male's equals, and should be given the same opportunities.

I have a problem with a girl Warrior for only one reason: there wasn't one in the original. This is a remake and things are supposed to be the same as their originals. Also on a side note the same thing is happening with the Honeymooners. Black actors were casts as Ralph and Norton. I'm not racist but some things are just ruined when stupid stuff like this is done.

What's next a white Mr. T when the A-Team movie comes out.
