I've just purchased a copy of the First draft of the script for The new film from an authorised dealer.

I'm scared to think of what it is... :O
Is the script terrible, horrible or awful?
And will the remake be much worse than the script, or just marginally worse?

I remember Cyrus being shot, and then his second in command taking over. Wouldn't it be great if Cyrus NEVER died. Say, he was in a coma for
the last 25 years??? They don't mention it that he "officially" died in the movie.
The Lizzies said basically "so your the famous warriors, the ones who SHOT cyrus".
Swan says to Luther on the beach "why did you do it? Why did you shoot Cyrus".
So, it is basically ASSUMED that he died.
BRING CYRUS BACK.....CAN YOU DIG IT !!!!!!

I have just got back after a weekend in Brussels and the script was waiting for me.
It starts off with A cop being shot at and then some dudes watching telly in a flat.
It don't look good. Will let you know as i read more.

Not Quite what I think would fit the version of it even in the 1900's era but what the hell as long as they keep the Vest's and strange gangs thats all I would ask for that and not too many crappy matrix moves one would be good enough.

I'm half way through and i hate to admit it but, it sounds quite cool.
It is based on the original in some ways but, set in the future.
It won't be as good as the original but, it reads well.

Of course, as he mentioned earlier this is a first draft, which means nothing is final at all. Alot can be changed.

how long is the scriped, if its not that long can you post some of it up. maybe just good plot lines and such
