Needs to remain in filmmaker's mind.
Howdy folks! You know sometimes a remake needs to remain in some film makers mind instead of thrown onto to the big screne. The Warriors(1979) is a classic film that shouldn't be touched. Remakes are an insult to origonal film, although the 1976 remake of King king was pretty groovey 8) Anybody's viewpoints? Happy trails.
Be good to yourself and those around you for it's just a half a mile away.

I am strongly against remakes of classic films. I don't find them to be insulting, just unnecessary. In my mind, The Warriors was perfect...and it was the imperfections it had that partially made it perfect. It had a lot going on that simply can't be reproduced. I fear that the remake will be too cameo laden(whether it be with old Warriors actors, or modern rappers/celebs that want to get their face int this)... it just shouldn't be done.
If they want to do a similar take on a story, go for it. Just don't try to pass it off as a remake. I am strongly against them taking the Warriors out of coney too...
The Warriors was just something special, that I don't feel can be reproduced.
