Skip Chaisson has e-mailed to say that this is not the script of the remake and is not even a working script that Tony and himself have worked on. It may just be this was an early attempt at a script by someone else before Skip and Tony made theirs! So it looks like the remake is back to being a mystery. I'll post more info as it becomes available!

Remember..mom always said don't play ball in the house...err sorry no..don't always believe what you see on the net! War Chief, ask Skip to throw us a bone about the remake.

You know he could just be saying that so people don't read it. Just think about it, you spend weeks no months or years writing the script for a movie and people manage to read it before the movie comes out. Besides it's kind of hard to belive that some one took the time to write out a whole script for a movie.

Complete and total rejection of fully-written scripts isn't new in theatrical history. At all. It's quite commonplace.

I am New Here, And I Can't believe that anyone would try to duplicate this script... They better not even think about making anything trying to resemble or duplicate this Masterpiece. Why doesn't anybody originate anything anymore, All these re-makes Like Brady bunch, Dukes Of Hazzard, Starsky And Hutch They should leave these things be... Especially THE WARRIORS... It Is SACRED... Can You Dig It??

im kinda disapointed with that i love the original and me and my friend wanted it to be the same.

:badgrin: the movie takes place in 2006 and takes place in LA. In stead of the old favorites they are adding the crips and the bloods. that sucks.

I'm new hear and I think that the remake (all though I am going to see it to see how it turns out) is probably go to be total utter bull because it's not even going to be shot in the same state. Instead of shooting the movie in New York City it's being shot in California.The gangs of the original won't be in the remake, it's going to have actual gangs such bloods and crips. The Warriors members names won't even be the same for god sace. The director is totally wrecked in the head. It was even said that in the remake proccess that the famous "Warriors, come out to play" scene won't even be in the remake version. That's crap brothers. It will be based on todays kind of gangs doing drive-bys and stuff. A monkey could do a better remake. I mean come on,the remake is not even really based on the entire original story and/or script.I mean the original was the best movie ever.God help us.

No disrespect to the fans of the up coming remake or the director of it.
