why? the "turbulent life and times of Chippendales founder Somen "Steve" Banerjee" sounds like it has potential to be an interesting cinematic study of rags to riches to
hanging oneself in a prison cell

Supposedly he is doing the WARRIORS remake *cough* re-imagining before the male stripper flick.

Ummm...ew?
Well, I suppose I'll go see it if I feel like being traumatized and further alienated from the male species.

sounds like an impressive work ethic, with a string of critically-acclaimed prior successes:
His films include Top Gun (1986), Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), Days of Thunder (1990), The Last Boy Scout (1991), True Romance (1993), Crimson Tide (1995), Enemy of the State (1998), Spy Game (2001), Man on Fire (2004), and Déjà Vu (2006).
i detect :::shudder the thought::: bias on these very boards

I like his movies I just HATE his "vision" for the WARRIORS. I got no other probs with the film-maker. His remake of Pelham didn't do too well.

It would probably be less wooden if it was about the furniture carpenter.
Man on fire is the only one of his films that I can say is good, and thats down to a good script and actors. After watching Domino, I wanted to punch myself in the face for wasting money on watching that garbage. Having two films that star tom cruise on your resume should be a capitol offence.

He said his WARRIORS will be a lot like DOMINO. So we have THAT to look forward to.

While I certainly agree that it's very likely that this movie will be, oh... less than fulfilling, I absolutely refuse to pass judgment on something I've not yet seen, that does not yet exist, and that may never actually be produced
I leave that sort of condemnation to the wackos, and the religious!
