If The Warriors remake ever does happen, and if it was done the way it should be I think a good choice for Luther would be.......................Axl Rose!
I can just hear his take on the famous "Warriors come out and play" line in my head.

Axl Rose, huh, you said??? I agree with you 100 %. But the movie crew just wouldn't have the actor like Axl. If I see Axl in the car with three bottles saying: "Warriorsssss, comeee out to playyy-ey..." I say WOW!! and that would be great step for movie.

Being that axl is 47 years old, it would be a hard task to convince me that the charecter he would play on screen is a juvinile age gang leader.

You would have to make a small change to the ending of the film if axl was luther. Instead of swan throwing a knife, he would throw a pound coin and luther would drop his gun and walk off in a sulk
