That is the best possible news I could ever here the remake would have ruined The Warriors legacy I know a lot of people are going to be happy about this.

If this is true, it's great news. Remakes are almost never really a great idea anyway (although I do like the newer version of Ocean's 11 better than the Rat Pack version). I can't imagine what kind of posts fans of the newer movie would have made - talking tough and arguing with fans of the original and whatnot.

I mean are maybe they part 1 and 2? Anyway I surely saw one of these two movie... I don't rem which one now, ... ok no too bad, but yeah Ocean's 11 (Newer) is too Cool!!!
Anyway about The Warriors remake, I also think it's better they don't make it anymore... too many years... no longer the right social background!!! 8)

Its not everyday you go up to someone on the street and talk abut the warriors which was in 1979 here.

If they saw directors cut theyd know what you're talking about but theres a fifty fifty chance they're gonna know which film you're on about to them No matter how much of a classic film to see before you die thing it is.

That's the problem with the film industry back then it was with pasison and heart and stuntmen were the hardest things to get in certain places, so it was crew or cast that did them, then cgi came and everyone thought it was great at first you'd see an alien that wasnt made out of foam, then the stunts were usually done by stuntmen all the time...still the films were ok.

Then cartoon animation came and it seemed it was at its peak and then it made a huge mistake...REMAKES!


since then it seems the business hass gotten more boring, theres a film that looks good but ends up beain the worst thing you've seen

I would like to see a remake happen if they went the "Starsky and Hutch" route of setting it in the same time as the original and just remaking it not rewriting it.

ive always been for the remake, remember the original was 1979 not 1980 . i see where your coming from it was the game that brought me to the warriors. the game did build a bigger fan system i think to

I think that the remake would have done good for the original movie.

If playstation hadn't produced the game, I would probably have never have a) heard of the movie, b) adored it and bought the book, soundtrack, and dvd!


Whenever people ask me my favourite movies 'The Warriors' is always in my top 5 (Heathers is my #1)

I think the video game did wonders for the fan system

I was only born in 82 but all my fave movies is stuff like xanadu, breakfast club, ferris bueller, rocky horror, VERY into 'cult' films
