This is so dumb. This "REMAKE" has nothing to do with the original except the basic plot. How can they not have the Baseball Furies? They were my favourite! How will you be able to distinguish the different gangs? They'll all look the same! The only reason they're keepong the name is so fans of the movie will want to see it...this sucks!

Well I think we can all look on the bright side, see I like to look at this new movie, like a fan fiction.  I can understand if it was meant to be a sequel, than we would all be mad.  Since, its not a sequel we do not have to put this movie in the same reality as our classic warriors.  If it were "God forbid" a sequel, it would be much harder to ignore, because its in the same universe as the warriors we have grown to like.  Since its not in the same existence of it, we can choose to not be part of it.  Thats whats good about the whole thing.  I guess this film is being made, is because you see its obvious that times have changed a great deal.  Our whole pop culture has been altered.  Now we deal with many different issues in life, and how we deal with it.  I am not saying times have completely changed, its just that the problems have shifted all around.  So whether its government problems, racial, or religious issues, they have changed regardless, and its up to the new breed of gang to deal with it.  I am not saying I am a supporter of the new movie, or I am against it.  I am in fact neutral, and just take it as another learning experience.  Thats what I think this movie is reflecting on, the way the armies of the night deal with reality now a days.  Like I said previously, it does not exist within the world of our 1979 Warriors which is good.  It's just merely dealing with todays standards.
