Not A Remake

Post by War Chief »

I guess it isn't really a remake then, just a movie based on the original. It will be interesting to see what they make but it certainly won't blow the spots off the original!!

I hate remakes that are nothing like the original. Watch the whole story change and the Orphans become the top gang or something. The Warriors will wind up being from Staten Island.

I could understand anyone new to the remake who hadn't seen the original may think the remake is much better.

I'm going to watch the remake as a seperate film and try not to think of the original!

The whole idea of a remake though is to simply redo it and modernize it a little not change the story. All they have to do is update the clthes and the scenery nothing else and it will be a good remake.

It might have been alright if they copied the original!

Lets hope they keep the Orignal things that gave the movie its spunk to be called a remeberable movie!

I hope they don't try to digitalize anything like the crowd at the meeting. It would take away from the stroy if digital scenes got used. Maybe the fight scenes could last longer.

I want to be an extra in this remake.
