i dont think the remake is a good idea because people that have never seen the origanall are going to b like oh the warriors is so cool and when u ask them who your fav character is they will probabley say like acorn or a new character or if u ask them have u seen the origanall they would say theres no originall and they might say it sucks. and that sucks and people will know the warriors as that new movie about cheap ass new gangs. and people will not even care about the old one except us!  I HOPE THEY DONT MAKE THE NEW MOVIE. OR AJAX WILL SHOVE HIS BAT UP THIERE ASS! :badgrin: 8)

Thats actually what im most concerned about, i totally agree with you there. Thats how the game was. But what if this is a flop, kids wont really care (hopefully) Anyways, its best just not to bring it up in front of kids that have seen it. It'll get forgotten soon enough.

That is 100% the truth, that is exactly what is going to happen, It is what happend with the game as well, you ask people if they have played the game, and they would say yeah,and that it was awsome, but if you asked them if they have seen the movie they would say There was a movie? But at least the game followed the movie.

that will suck if people that loved the new film would come on this forum and start talking about it, when this forum is for the 1979 film. and i agree with swan_jax. if that happens that will suck.

The game has confused everything.  People are talking crap from the game that wasn't in the movie and have a whole different idea of what the Warriors is.  When the new flick is seen it will make a 3rd group who ain't seen the original or played the game and it'll be like the tower of bable here with everyone spilling over their talk into other topics.

absolutely right.. there will be about 10,000,000 newbloods wondering the forum, and they will be making stupid posts like who will win in a fight wacko or ace (made up characters from this new thing)
and who is the best gang the "westside" or the "round the corner rude boys"... there shoud be a seperate forum on its own little site for this warriors 2006 which is NOT a remake.. if its not a remake its nothing to do with me. from what i have heard there just stealing the name

I agree, i just stupid. Heaps of people i know have played the game but have never heard of the movie and most of them didnt even appreciate the game anyway. The new movie should just be kept as far away from the original as possoble, the only thing it should have in common is the name.
