Who Would You Cast

NO NAME ACTORS...like the original. I hate to see this remake but if your going to do it there must not be any current "Pop" icon people.

You know why Superman worker when it came out in 78 or 79? Christopher Reeve was a no-name actor who proved himself, worked fantastically!

Talent in the actors schools would be perfect! No major stars!! No G Damn rappers no rap music, no atheletes, no singers. Bare Bones, a great script and upcoming "Hungry" actors.

I know I'm dreaming cause the total opposite is gonna happen. We're in a "Pop" cultured world that is nauseating.

i am in full agreement with you- i hate to see this movie remade, but if it's going to happen then they should use unknown actors, like the original. the only known actors in it should be original cast making cameos and keep the 'c'rap singers & songs out,

Lesser known actors are needed, the Warriors is about the gangs as a whole, and not necessarily on individuality, with a well known actor in a lead role, the entire reason for the warriors existance is kicked in the balls. If you've read the novel you'd understand. None of this bullshit kung-fu, BRING BACK THE BIFF.....and because it's MTV, they just couldn't help but caste a cocky "funny" member.....I can almost smell a Blade 3, do the right thing if anyone from production is watching, aim for the right target audience, NOT 12 year old boys...yet again....MTV, God help us all.

Totally agreed. I wouldn't wanna see any high-class tosspot actors in this.

Samuel L Jackon would totally fit his role in this anyways.

im just having fun with this question but Arnold Swartzenegger as Swan, Emeinem as Ajax, Ice cube as Cochiese, Snoop dog as Snow, Jet li as Fox, Richard simmons as Rembrandt, Dave chapelle as Cleon, Robert denero as Cowboy, Michal jackson as Vermin, Booker T as Cyrus, the crack head Olsen twin as Mercy, P Diddy as Masai, Mike tyson as Luther. Just kidding they should cast unknows like the original.

heres how i would cast it

syrus- dwayne the rock johnson
swan- thomas jane
mercy- mila kunis
ajax- eddie furlong
cowboy- jason london
rembrant-Khleo Thomas
luther- alex winter
dj- beyonce
the orphans- the strokes

but i think the gangs should have a mixed age group
with the leader being the oldest

I know who not to cast-No Rappers or Singers-I'm tired of these fools showing up in every film they believe to be hip. All these MTV created stars are millionaires claiming to be "thugs". If they were real they'd be doing serious time not at home writing lyrics to a song. Lastly on this rant of mine what is the deal with all these clowns having to show that they're a fan of the movie Scarface, I guess that gives them cred.

Someone posted Thomas Jane, while I believe that he may be a little to well known by now I must commend you for he certaintly looks the part.

And actually Howard Stern is not a bad idea-just show him in the same manner as the original-you see him from the nose down with the long black hair and from the distance with the shades on. He does have a classic look and I think that it would be a superb idea to have the "dj" as the only recognizable person in the cast.

The Hollywood Package Deal..

If the Studio is reading this,Yo I know all about your Talent package deals too.. To all of the Fellow Warriors with Ears for the Action,I'm gonna relay a request to you..This is the Hollywood Politics..A director who happens to work at one of the Big Talent agency, Get money from a studio to Produce a film,the screenwriter who happens to work for the same agency,collaborates with the director,and then to make a long story short,hire actors from within the agency to be in the film, Why do you think,so many bad Movies come out with an enormous cast like "Closer" all the talent from the movie are from the same agency CAA.and when I think about MTV Producing this movie,It makes me sick to my stomach because instead of casting unknown,your gonna end up seeing 90210 in Brooklyn.. Don't let me catch them on the Boardwalk,I'll chase them the hell outta Coney..Yeah Jump the Turnstyle.. And as Stupid as MTV is watch them pull out Metrocard,instead of Token..Yeah Hollywood Hate on me,HATE ON ME for Keepin It Real .. Let's see what SKIP has to say now??
