Thanks for the hot tip! That price is crazy for a piece of actual 1979 Warriors merch...and it looks like it was a UK exclusive release, as well! I know what I'm giving friends for X-mas!

FYI...there are now none left.

Hate to be the downer man but, those aren't originals

The poster is incorrect as i don't think a white border is on the original one! I will check out tonight.

Also what is Ebays advice. If it seems to be too good to be true it probably is! These would go for $50/Â£25 each so nobody is silly enough to sell them for Â£2.

Looking at it again, I'm not too sure that that is a white border... Kinda looks like he's laid the poster out onto a white background (?)... The feedback is all positive, and one comment even says "just as I remember"... either way, mine should arrive soon, so I'll let you know what the deal is as soon as I get 'em.

That's the second batch, so that guy had about 90 of them so I dont think they are original. However, at such a low price I don't mind it it is a copy.

My original which cost me about $70 2 years ago is in a special magazine protector ::)

I'll let you know when they come in. Nowhere on the auction does it say they're reproducitons... It does say '1979', but it's unclear wether it's referring to the film's release year or the booklet's. If they are repros, then the seller is being misleading.

I picked up the whole lot, but if they're for real, I'll pass one on to you.

I have no idea how you check if they are repro? State/colour of the paper maybe?

Hey man, eBay is the land of suckers and suckees.

Some people just don't know what they've got! If it's for real, he probably was just sitting on a case and not knowing the demand for it.

Although, if he paid almost nothing for it, than he's happy to be making any kind of profit.

And I'm freaking happy to take the remaining 40 off of his hands at around $5 a pop.

Have been outbid 3-4 times on this over the years so I quess I'll just keep lookin.

Can't complain to much even if there not originals except for the fact the seller is dishonest.

Okay they've arrived and (drum roll)..........................

I'd say they are definitely originals. No white borders, and the paper has that 'kind of old' look and feel to it. Everything about them screams '1979'.

Who knows how the seller had so much of them, but it looks like the 'suckers and suckees' analogy could be correct on this one.
