i got a xport but it doesnt work on my ps2. its brand new tried it once.
if anyone would like it. i would sell it for just what i paid for it $30 + $4 shipping (as long as its in the us...shipping outside would be more)
if you have a PS2 it will work on its a amzing tool
you can upload and download game files 100% done (if you have the game on disk that is, it lets you DL the save file not the game), and 100000's of cheats. also lets you use your comp hard drive as one huge hard drive. and you can edit parts of ps2 games.
anyway. heres some info you should know
X-Port and Sharkport discs do not run on all playstation 2 consoles! Newer ps2's will not recognize X-Port or Sharkport (blue back) discs and will say "Disc Read Error". You will need to make sure that your ps2 does not have a serial number beginning with "PX...". Your ps2 needs to have a serial number that begins with "PT...". The X-Port and Sharkport with not work on the new (thin) ps2. Ok, now that that's been explained...
mine was a (PX...but not a slim...i was told it would work as long as it wasnt slim...lies)
anyway its a wasted $34 for me so i would really like to try to make it back
