Any body else make custom figures? Mezco did a lot of reclycling of parts to make these figs (ex: Cochise has the same lower body as the Furies with different paint and shoes). Because of all the parts canibalization, you could create some figures on your own by sculpting new heads... if you were so inclined.

I'm holding off till we hear if series 1 sales merit a series 2 - but if not, I can't have just half the warriors sitting on my shelf - i want them all yada yada yada...

omg those 12" gi joe figures you made are awesome! The links to the 2 snake eyes are not working, but out of the others I like Torch the best, good ol drednoks! Are you planning to make more?

Yeah, I noticed the Snake-Eyes pages were down some time ago. The reason I haven't bothered fixing them, is that I want to take better pics of all the figures now that I have a killer camera, like I did with Zartan up above. One of these days.

I have a Buzzer that has been in the works for what seems like forever, and will finish him one of these days. I have been slacking on customs in the last year though.

Torch, Space Ghost, Dr. Zaius, and Dr. Zaius' packaging have all been award winners.

TCM, that Dr. Zaius is FAN-EFFING-TASTIC. The expression on his face is perfect.

I was a big-time Simpsons WOS collector, getting two of every figure (one to open, one to keep MOC) from the beginning of the line to the end. That line is essentially what got me into toy collecting, for better or for worse.

Great job on all those customs. I love the micro-man figs as a base - the articulation is ridculous. Have you seen the new Mag-warrior figures from megablocks? They are sort of like beefier mediaval micro-man figs - i think they would be great for customizing.

i wish I had pictures of all the figures I've made - I've worked on things as small as 2 inch to minatures to 24 inch robots. i did a ton of Marvel super hero customs back in the day, then transitioned to custom Shogun Warriors/Jumbo machinders (anybody remember those 2 foot goiiaths?). Most recetly, I made a Darkwolf figure. He is the warrior pictured in my avatar - from the animated movie "Fire and Ice" (if you haven't seen it, you should - just re-leased on DVD for the first time last month)

Who would you make? Warrior wise?

Warrior wise I'd like to do everyone we don't get from Mezco. Snow, for example, could be made from a Cleon body with a re-sculpted head. i'd repaint the pants a dark brown and repaint his skin tone to be lighter.

I'd like to do the Rogue 2nd in command too - using the Red-faced Fury's head, repainted with a resculpted hat - combined with a Warrior's body. I'd sculp the other details like a collar and pockets on the vest and t-shirt sleeves from scratch.

Whether there's a series 2 or not, I say you do it anyway!
