Scene change?

Ok, se we came up with different theories of the Furies knowing where the Warriors were going to come out from. Have you guys ever seen the scene were the Warriors are being chased in the park by the Furies and at one point there are like 12 (or so) Furies chasing them. Do you guys think that there were other Furies waiting for them at another exit? And when they saw the main Furies running they took off with the as well, and therefor we see all these Furies? Maybe that was the original shot, but then they did it away instead.

good topic but tricky! To my knowledge the 72nd street (92nd st in the movie) station doesn't have any other exits other than the one they came out of...that was the only one back in the day...they renovated the station recently and now there's another exit across the street...but even so the Furies may have had that original plan to have other Furies hiding...yet their plan failed when the Warriors headed a different direction since they ran down 100th street...those Furies might have been hiding somewhere between 96th and 99th street...so as the Furies chase the Warriors...those awaiting Furies realized that their plans had failed...and ran forth...that's what I think could've happened...

Good reponse. I like that idea. That's what I have always thought. That there were others waiting around there too, just in case the Warriors ran the opposite way.

Your topic is very interesting Lions, and well also tSL_0f_2006+your opinion would seem perfect or ye it's a very good one, I'd say the most realistic!!!
But to me The Furies "became" 12 cause... well it's simply a movie blopper!
I think you know, I like to "find" always an answer: well according to my opinion, but this time the answer is that the director forgot to check again that scene!!!

Anyway who knows??? Maybe he really wanted we to understand there were other Furies!!!
Well true or not, again, very good point man!!! 8)

well I wouldn't necessarilly say that the furies being "12" is a movie blooper. Lions makes a very good point. So basically what you are saying is, is that if the warriors did decide to make an alternate route towards another exit, perhaps extra furies would be there no matter what waiting for the kill. Thats actually logical, because its like I said in another post. The warriors were supposed to meet an inevitable fate, and that makes a lot of sense.

The "12" could've been a blooper...were there really 12?! There really seems like there were less...but it might have been that the Furies broke the rules a little bit...or maybe not...they weren't at the conclave this time so they could've brought out as many Furies as they wanted to...12 seemed reasonable...or as many as there were...having more than what they had would have been too much for the Warriors to fight against...but whatever the case was...the 4 Warriors were strong against the number of Furies there were...

Hey guys I've told it's a very good point, too!!!
Only to me it was more an "oblivion" than a pure director's choice!!! Plus, bloppers ain't necessarily negative 4 the movie. IMO.
But I repeat, Lions' was anyway a perfect "vision"!!! 8)
