Flaws

Now don't all start jumping down my neck, but I have this discussion I was thinking of.  Now traditionally on the "HEROES JOURNEY", the hero or heroes always manages to have his or her own "flaws", or mistake that they learn from.  You know naturealy life is full of mistakes we all learn from, and gain experience from.  SO I was thinking perhaps we can make a list of flaws that each warrior encounters.  You know for instance, AJAX probably learns that with underestimating the power of a woman, you will be defeated.  Or maybe when COCHISE says "I seen him, and then he was there no more, I was hauling ass", he realizes that his fellow brothers are more important then he thinks, notice how he tells Rembrandt, "we gotta hold ourselves toghether".  MERCY realizes she is much more then a whore, and SWAN knows that there more to life.  Do you all see what I am saying?  With every expierence comes meaning.  Can anyone else think of something else?

If his brain was still functioning enough to let him think lol Maybe one for Masai (Considering there was no Cyrus anymore) was to be more careful when he wanted to implement his plans to the rest of the city , as its obvious they're a very volatile group  :)

Yeah Lions, very funny, and after all it's really right!!! :)

About adam88 topic, I think all of them surely learned something, but I'd move the target on Cyrus:
I mean, if still alive, he'd have surely learned that it's better don't trust JUST ANYONE!!!
Whoever you are, if you're important, famous, a leader... then you're alone... history tell us... 8)

i agree! u dont wana trust other gangs especially if some of the gangs uve had wars with in the past, maybe the rugues and riffs had a little misunderstanding in the past, thats why he shot him yeah fair enuff "he just likes doing things like that" but its possible

Great topic Adam88!!!  :D And great responses everyone!!!

The Masai (and possibly the rest of the Riffs): don't go looking for trouble without proof...they believed in ONE gang...and they trusted these Rogues too much to tell "the truth"...if there's going to be an accusation of course there should be a trial for it...the Riffs went too hard on Cleon against the word of that ONE gang...and I'm sure there's a lesson with what Cleon did...if something happened run! Don't go to where the action is...he was as curious as a cat...and you know what they say "Curiosity killed the cat!" And as interesting as it seems there weren't any other gang members there but Cleon and the Rogues...

Rembrandt must've learned that no matter what situation it is...he can survive just finely because he believed in wanting to get back to C.I....he's a Little Giant

Baseball Furies: Its similar to what Stevo2k6 said about the Orphans...except the BBs may have had bats and the Warriors didn't...but that doesn't mean that you're a stronger force....8 (with bats) may be better than 4...but if you know what you're doing rather than forcing through without thinking then 4 is better than 8!

Lizzies: Seducing men doesn't always work....especially if there's one who's not interested!

Good points, theSleepiLizzie_of_2006... I'd only add something about the lizzies.
I mean, watching the movie, I've always thought:
why didn't the 3 Warriors (well... only Cochise and Vermin) think about it was too easy!!!
i.e.: ok 1979 was not 1600, and they were real cool dudes, but how can you be sure that a girl... a gang girl, IN THAT SITUATION really likes you?
Don't you think she can cover up something... strange or dangerous??? 8)

The leader of the Punks learned not to randomly open bathroom stalls because you might just get a faceful of spray paint.

Cyrus learned (too late) that when speaking in front of hundreds of people, regardless of weapons not be allowed, a bullet-proof vest is a good idea.

The candy store girl learned not to ask a gang leader about owing money because he might just snap at you

And Cowboy learned that he should never try out for the track team.

Cowboy learnt not to be too over enthusiastic at the meeting, Ajax gave him a discusted sneer.

Cowboy learned that he should get a chin strap for his hat
Swan learned that being with someone isn't totally a bad thing
Vermin learned to not let his pelvis do the decision making
Rembrant learned not to listen to Vermin and Cochise and make his own mind up
Snow learned that maybe the gang life isn't all it's cracked up to be
Ajax learned that trying to get your rocks off to a girl in the park...ends in disaster :!:
