You know there are times when I wish Swan would of whooped Ajax.  I think if Ajax would of "made his move" and Swan would of beat him down, he wouldn't run his mouth as much or even get stuck with that cop lady.

I agree. In my opinion Ajax is all mouth. I'm not saying he isn't tough.. I just think his mouth is quicker than his hands.

he proved he isnt all mouth in the furies fight, maybe him and swan wud have gone at it, remember fox stood in between them kinda. he was in need of discipline speshly with that chick

Yes I definately believe Swan should've kick the hell out of Ajax. Ajax talks too much and he needs his mouth shut. But if they did fight Snow or Fox probably would've intervene and tried to stop it.

I totally disagree. Ajax did have a big mouth, but he had strength to back it up. He could kick some serious ass, and he enjoyed doing it. Watch the Furies fight, and you'll see him smiling when he's doing his thing. Now, just imagine if he were to get p*ssed.  :shock: I would not want to be the person he got p*ssed at. Look, he picked a guy up over his head and slammed him on the ground. I think his fighting says alot about his strenth. He could have deffinetely taken Swan

In the graveyard when Swan says "Make your move.", his eyes are saying "Oh crap what the hell am I doing about to fight this guy?"

I think that if ajax would of made his move ajax would of beat swan because swan may have skill but ajax has to much power he hit one of the baseball furies in the head and knocked him clean out.So if ajax got a big he would knock swan out but if ajax would of missed that punch and swan was quick he would probably beat ajax so i think it would be the first one to get the lucky punch in that is my opinion.

It would of been a pretty fair fight but if it did happen, not only do I rekon Swan would of won, but it would of kept them all together, like its easier to follow a leader after they have knocked back an opponent than follow a new one your not so sure about. though Ajax was bad ass and tough, he was just too hot headed, he had strength, but not guile

Yeah, i agree with Ajax the Warrior.
the one to get the first punch in would be the one on top.
In my oppinion it would be a good fight because in the end they are the same level.
Swan has alot of Skill while Ajax has alot of power.

yeah true power vs skill well. thats all based on whos luckier at the time, all about luck is fights u can get beaten one day fight the same person a week later and win just whos luckier and depends on everything, tiredness drunkness what actions u do in the fight, just make most of every oportunity

I'm sorry but there is something I don't understand......WHO said Ajax doesn't have skill? No one. And there's no evidence to back that up. Ajax proved he had more skill than Swan. Swan had some pretty basic moves in the Furies fight, while Ajax was quick and watching his back. As far as the movie shows, Ajax has the better on Swan as far as fighting goes. Now don't get me wrong, Swan is a good fighter. He's probably high on the list of fighting. But Ajax, and Snow have proved to be higher than him.

They both have skills,the difference between them is that Ajax likes to talk about that,and Swan doesn't.It would probably be an even and a long fight.No matter who would win,the Warriors(at least the ones from the conclave)would split into two groups.That would probably weaken them,and the Riffs would catch them and killed them before the truth who really killed Cyrus would be found.
My conclusion:I'm glad that Swan and Ajax didn't have a fight!

Well, I suppose it was Walter Hills way of comparing the subsided disciplined figure Vs the untaimed beast that can't be control.  Therefore you get the idea of the type of men these two specifically are.  Thas why I like and appreciate the warriors.  Walter Hill doesn't put everything into fighting mode, but can verbally explain the type of people in society.  After all look at the stair between Swan and Mercy, against the prom couple.  It expresse the "haves" against the "have nots", without verbally or physically expressing it.  Some of lifes messages are not always shown with fists.

There are ways to approach a fight.  I know that Swan would of whooped Ajax.  Ajax was strong and his punches and kicks were good too.  But he lacked the main thing, calm and discipline.  Swan had this.  Before long Ajax would of gotten mad for maybe not beating Swan as quick as he wanted to and this would become his problem and start missing his hits.

Thats right my friend. If Ajax was so eager to throw fist why didn't he? Swan told him to make his move. I thought Ajax wasn't a wimp? IMO I don't think Ajax is that powerful. Flipping over a baseball fury? You got the guy from the punks that threw Vermin into a mirror over the facebowls. How much is Vermin?224 lbs? If you got a guy that can toss another guy into a mirror what is so fascinating about a guy flipping oevr someone?

I'd say Snow was the one that did the most fighting out of the whole movie. Swan had heart and kudos to him for standing up to Luther on the beach staring death right in the eyes. If Swan can stand up to a gunslinger he definately isn't scared of any man...such as AJAX!!
