The Warriors Civil War

Post by Lion »

You know, I was thinking, even if all of them had made it.  Eventually they wouldn't of gotten along.  They would of thrown the Beatles thing and start fighting with one another.  For instance, I know for a fact if Swan stayed, Ajax eventually would of pushed to become Warchief, even if Swan didn't stayed, Ajax would still fight for his "right".  Here we would have a separation, some would follow Ajax and some wouldn't.  Not only this, but I am sure if there were other Warriors that stayed faithfull to Cleon, they wouldn't follow either Swan or Ajax, but in fact choose one of their own.  And here my friends would begin a civil war.

Very good point, I can imagine if Swan did leave there would be a fight for the top. He seems very intimidating, like all the Warriors do what they are told when he gives them orders. I can't imagine a gang following orders from someone like of Vermin or Rembrant etc. So I think if Swan did leave the warriors would drift apart, loosing two of their strongest leaders.. It doesn't seem like anybody could step into their shoes and run the gang.

Good point indeed.I wonder if Ajax has ever challenged Cleon. You know the scene when Cleon tells him he's only a soldier and to keep his mouth shut? After that scene I always get an impression that Ajax in the past really did challenge Cleon, but lost,so he knows better now.

Well IMO Ajax did what Cleon told him to do because Cleon was "The boss"
Whereas when Swan stepped in he saw him as "A soldier trying to be a commander" when he thought he could could do it so much better.
We know thats not true though.

Very interesting point.  After all, unfortuanatley petty differebces can amke a difference.  I mean, everything can be calm and enlightened for a period of time, but for how long?  I mean in our society this is why many countries are flooded with civil war.  First they are bound toghether by a single cause which unifies the, but then small insignificant disagrreements starts to kick in, thus distorting what the gang first stood for in the first place.  Its not fair, but it does happen.  It can be hard to say, because we would have to go more in depth of the mentality of a warriors.  Are they they type to debate but inventually come to a conclusion on the future of the faction?, or witought Cleon, does the original image fade away, causing a chain reaction to split a family apart.  WHo knows, maybe the warriors are smarter than that, and are willing to hear what Swan has to offer, but on the other hand, people are unique and insist on standing up for what they believe in, thussplitting the team up into two parts. After all we are limited to only 9 members of the warriors, and really don'tknow how the rest of the soldiers recat to things, and how matur their minds are.  Or who knows, maybe the events of the night may cause their lifestyles to change.  If Ajax made it back, he might still be arrogant, and loud, but more repectable and honorable.  So maybe that one night in general chnaged who they are in general as people.  Its very difficault to say, which is why this is a very good question on future events.  Good job.

You know Lions I don't really think Ajax would fight 4 his right( wether Swan stayed or not)... I mean I always said he thinks to be more than he is, so I don't like him but in my opinion he likes to be in a group. Ye he will always be revolutionary, but he likes.
When they beat the furies, Swan and Ajax look at one eachother and it looks like a silent link between them. Even more, if Ajax had really wanted to fight Swan( in the graveyard) he'd have fighted.
Anyway it doesn't mean he isn't brave( all of us know his courage), but only he understood Swan was more suitable as WarChief than him! Maybe he will never say that, but he knows!!!  8)
