Which would you prefer?

An update (new cast, but same basic script and premise, although maybe Vermin's pick-up lines could be altered!) or a remake? If I was old enough, I'd want to act in an update...I do a pretty good "You can get another one, man!"

I would say Remake...keep it simple and the way it won peoples hearts as it did a long time ago.

yeah I'd say remake as it would be really tricky to better the original when trying to update it, I for one would be very unhappy if that happened.

I would have to say update. You can never 'remake' The Warriors. It's just one of those movies that you don't mess with, and there are a few movies in that catagory. There is just that certain something about this movie that I don't think they need to remake or change in anyway.

If for an update you mean a sequel, then I am definetely for it.

i say aupdate cause the remake is gonna try to be very hip and there for killin it in the process y like putting in bling bling and rap music

i for sure thinka remake. it would be cool to a see a new cast playing the same roles. now that we have a real strong idea of who each person is. you could really look inot hollywood and decided who should play who. who would wit the rolls best ect. also, maybe a remake. of course the times are so diffrent now....a remake in current times wouldent be as good. i really dont think it would be that cool seeing the warriors wearing baggy clothing and stuff like currenT NY times

They will ruin the classic by remaking it. They say it will based on it but not same script and characters? WHATS THE POINT? they will just ruin it. i say update. Same characters, same story, same thing.

I prefer neither. There are so many remakes that I am wondering if there is anything original out there. Something tells me this remake trend will not end soon. I think film makers should leave the classics the way they are and leave them alone.

I'd have polled UPDATE!!! 1000%... sure... to me the movie is only one -1979 "The Warriors"-, so ok 4 the update, no remake!!! But they'll remake it the same
!!! 8)

You know what? A prequel is a very good idea too!!! Obviously, it should follow the 1979 movie track... but even if I prefer an update, I think it's better than a remake!!! 8)
