do we have mixed facts here?the narrator mentions that the warriors are 27 miles behind enemy lines.yet in the film when swan tells them all theyre all going back to coney vermin states
"do you mind telling me how?coney island must 50 to 100 miles away."
to which swan replies:
"its the only choice we got."

Vermin was exaggerating! He whinned about everything

It's surely more than 27 miles though?? I've no idea about the size of New York!

I'm pretty sure somebody did a miles checker on a site and by road it was about 29/30 miles.

When i went from times Square area to Coney it didn't seem that far. It just took a while as it made so many stops not that i minded as it was part of the excitement!

27 miles is a long way to go if you've never been in a place before, it's even longer if someone's trying to kick your butt the whole way back.

27 miles of unknown territory not knowing whats waiting for you round the next corner.

in the trailer there is a scene where mercy says "the warriors, your the real heavy outfit" or somthing, ive not seen that version before

one thing i noticed on the trailer was when swan shouts hey! after ajax beats the crap out of the leader furie,the red faced furie swings his bat in a samurai fashion and then attacks swan.

its a tiny snippet which isnt actually in the film.

oh so you think that snippet was edited out? hmmm. I wonder why. were they trying to maintain a specific time length for the movie?

a strict 90 minutes by the look of it,have you seen that tiny part on the trailer saner?they probably thought it was uneccesary.

They probably hadn't finished editing when the trailer was made so a lot of small bits here and there are probably in there that didn't make the final cut.

that is in the final version where the lizzies tell vermin that they,ve heard that the warriors are a heavy outfit.
