Hello,

I found these images of 'The Warriors' soundtrack on 8-track cassette.

http://www.fuseboxfilms.com/8-track%20t ... track.html

There's 4 programs at 9:16 mins long, each containing 3 tracks.

If you look at the track listing it shows:

'In Havana' (Part 1) & (Part 2)

and also...

'Baseball Furies Chase' (Part 1) & (Part 2)

Does anybody know if the tracks listed with 'Part 2' are different to the usual CD or LP versions of the soundtrack?

I thought that they might just be the same tracks cut into 2 parts. (They run out of tape halfway through the track - so just set the song to continue in the next program)

:?: :?: :?:

Cheers,

AL-B 8)

As an old guy I can tell you these are the same songs as CD or LP. 8-track would sometimes cut a song due to time. Very annoying.

lolol well i do!! and gonzo's right on the dollars!!! the 8-track's were what, 4 programs usually. i think. 2 of the 4 always had a song, or 2 split into 2 programs, because they couldn't fit it all into 1 program. and yes very, very, annoying!!! :x

I've actually got an 8-Track stereo recorder made by a company called "Hydra".

It cost me about £10 second hand.

I've only got blank tapes for it though....apart from one
which came with the machine and has bagpipe music on it.

8 Track was the thing when I was a teenager! As long as you had the all important accesory,The torn machbook cover! And wondrful sound of the tape being eaten after you spent all your extra money on a new 8 track album. 8)
