When Snow and Cowboy meet up with Cochise, Rembrandt and Vermin, Fox is not mentioned.  Vermin states something like "where's  the others?" and Snow tells them about Ajax getting arrested and knows nothing about Swan.  Mercy was the only one who knew what happened to Fox, and she told Swan when they meet at the 96th Street station, before meeting up with the others at Union Square.  Was it Walter Hill's way of forgetting about Fox altogether or just a miscue?

Hard to say for sure, but I think it's an honest mistake. It doesn't make sense to deliberately pretend he disappeared into thin air or whatever. Fox's death was quite a late script development. Walter Hill says on the DVD that it was done because Tom Waites and Deborah Van Valkenburg had no chemistry together, and they didn't really have any other ideas for Fox, so with all the reworking they had to do, it seems likely that they miss something.

This is a very good point.  yes your right it is an honest mistake, because its almost hard to look for an excuse on it.  Well I just assume that since Snow was part of the group consisting of him, cowboy, Ajax, and Swan, he probably felt that there was no reason to mention the Fox.  I know it still makes no sence, because than Rembrandt should have asked "well what about Fox?".  And Snow didn't say "well did you see Fox?"  So my guess is that Snow did not want to jump to any conclusion.  Since it would obviously appear that Fox was not in anyones group, he did not want to think of the bad case scenario, and hoped that Fox found his way out of this mess.

Thanks everyone for your responses.  And sorry The Fox for this rehash.  I attempted a search as best I could but there were just too many lines to scroll through

mercy didnt know what happened to fox all she knew was that he got caught by a cop for all she knows hes aressted because fox told her to run she didnt look back to see what was goin on

Do you know where I can find this interview, because I'd be interested to read it. I'll admit that when I first saw his name linked with the movie (since he's not credited in the actual movie), I did wonder if it was Tom Waits the singer/actor, but he'd have been pushing 30 at that time, probably too old for a Warrior.

Since Waites came back to do Fox's voice for the game (again credited as Tom Waites), it shows that any grudges he might have had then are gone and forgotten.

I always noticed that issue about The Fox since the beginning...the rest of the Warriors never seem to find out about The Fox and he was never credited...but after that DVD interview I always wondered what other things urged Walter Hill to fire Tom G. Waites or even make him leave the set...I'm also curious about that interview with Tom G. Waites...it would be interesting to listen to it

even at the time I first watched the movie and before I had the Director's Cut I always interpreted as this: okay so they never asked about what happened to The Fox and they didn't seem to worry about him as much as they worried about Swan and Ajax...yet they all had such a hard time getting home I'm guessing that they were too busy kicking [bad word deleted] and trying to get home without losing anybody else that they forgot about The Fox...but there's a chance that maybe they had a small talk about the disappearance of The Fox while on their way home but that part wasn't shown since Walter Hill didn't want to know anything about him...and The Fox not being credited...well I thought somehow they made an error (as they did with some parts of the movie) on crediting him and they forgot to do that...

Very interesting! I was awaiting the interview with The Fox...and was alittle disappointed...I really thought he would talk more about his role in The Warriors...instead spoke more about other things...but its okay...at least he was able to say his point of view about it
