How come The Rogues went through half of NYC looking for The Warriors but were lucky enough not to get into a rumble with another gang?

Everyone was after The Warriors besides the Rogues had a car and could escape fast or if they wanted to run other gangs over that went after them.

Maybe a bigger question is how did they avoid the cops. A graffiti covered old hearse with blacked out windows would kinda tend to draw attention.

Yeah! That would have been awesome. But, it never shows that they didn't run into the cops. Maybe they were just good at sneaking around, they got out of the conclave, went all the way through NY, and then back to Coney Island, in a herse covered in grafitti. They probably would have had better luck running into the cops, then their fate in the end. I think it was probably a plot-hole.

In another topic, a member posted the idea that maybe Luther was speaking with the police throughout the movie. During the scenes which he was on the telephone, we're never shown who he was speaking with. Possibly the warlord of The Rogues, the police, The Riffs, etc. Any ideas?

My theory is he was speaking to the mafia, if syrus was wanting to controll the whole city what would happen to them? I think Luther was paid by them to do the hit. Just a thought
