Why didn't Snowball talk in the movie as much as everyone else i mean with his muscles and him being a big guy it would seem like he would have a big mouth like Ajax but he has barely 10 lines or less in the movie.... what do you guys think?

I think he's meant to be more the "quiet giant" type. Sort of quiet and philisophical, while having the muscle to back up what he says. I think that his lack of lines adds to the character, rather than detracting from it.

in the origanal script he wasnt actually even supposed to say a line until the end of the movie. I'm glad they changed it though. But still they probably liked him as the quiet giant

They wanted to portray him as the quiet guy that you really don't want to get angry. He talks with his fists.

Believe it or not, I always envisioned Snow as the perfect soldier. I always felt that he was more of an observer, rather than a sociable person. He looks like the guy who con not allow himself to commit ant mistakes. maybe he is the type of person who is on a more spiritual path, so he keeps quite. He has the potential to lea, but instead rather observe and contribute in any way he can. I liked how, he stayed focused in the furies fight, suggested to go back for Ajax, suggested they look for Swan just before the punks fight, and barely had trouble in the fight. He even looked like he was going to jump in front of Swan to block the bullet. I think he is a man who is raped up in his work, and is prepared for what ever life has to offer him. I think thats why he is quite, because he has the true heart of a warrior and is always prepared for an obstacle. Notice how he didn't even laugh when swan said to mercy "maybe we should all pull a train on you". He reminds me of cane from kung fu, always getting into adventures, and go's wherever he is needed. The real way of a warrior.

Snow doesn't need to be loud, or to brag about how tough he is. He's the real deal, he knows it, and could prove it any time he needs to. Snow's smart, he doesn't mouth off or big himself up to look for trouble, but is perfectly able to handle himself if it does go bad. I imagine that Ajax's big mouth gets him into trouble far more, and he probably gets himself beaten up as often as he beats other people up.
Plus for the movie, having him as the quiet type marks him out as being different from Ajax. If Snow was another loud, Warrior, it'd just be like having a second Ajax, which would take a lot of the coolness away from both characters.

Just beacuse he is big and has alot of muscular power dont mean he has to be loud and outgoing. hes the silent type and lets his fighting do the talking

I agree with the above replies. Snow was one of the most mature Warriors. He was everything a good soldier should be. He was smart, calm, loyal and he may not have said much verbally but he said a helluva lot with his fists. One thing that annoyed me about the game, is not only did they change his voice, but they changed his personality a bit too, making him more cocky. Anyone else notice this?

i love the way how Snow handles the situation...he's just a calm dude who knows that there's a dilemma but decides he's going to handle it with precaution...the scene when the Orphans show up he hands over the molotov to Cowboy is showing that he knows how to handle that situation...another would be in the beginning when he mentions "the truce is it still on?"...the way he said it could not have been any better...yes he does speak with his fists more which makes his character look amazing...i can't see Snow being a blabber mouth in the movie...he's plays one good and quiet character

Nice post lizzie and i think your right about the Molotive thing he was calm and did it his own way but it just seems to me he would be like Ajax.

thanks Snow4Ever...
oh no no no! Snow being Ajax...yikes!!! I definitely can't see that in him...not even in real life when I met Snow...he was a gentle and easy-going guy to play a character like Ajax...plus he was the youngest Warrior...he brought his personal behavior into the Warrior character...his part was just fine!
