in the opening scene when all of the gangs are introduced, if you look at the hi hats you notice that their hats are perfect except for two of them. ones hat has a big dent in it and anothers is straight up busted

You know I love the hi hats.  But, there are some things I wish Walter Hill did differently.  I actually like the fact that some of their hats were busted up.  I just wish the Hi Hats were rougher looking altogether.  Like some of their shirts should have had some tears and should have been dirtier.  Look at the Furies, their uniforms hadn't been washed in years, if ever.  You could almost see the stink fumes comin off em.

Also, the actors they chose to be the hi hats were pretty puny.  Physically they look much  smaller than most of the warriors or furies.  I think it would have worked better if they were muscle bound goons who looked like rejects from some psycho circus. 

I don't know, maybe they could have added an evil grin to their make up.

I like to think they make up for their lack of muscle by being just plain weirdo's! I dig their puny look... Although muscle bound goons from a psycho circus would be just as cool
