I thought the building was located just across this one, where Nathan's is. I am probably mistaken, but how did you figure this is the location?

I didn't mean the old building of Nathan's. On the right of the building of your pic, there is a Nathan's branch. I am sure you're right. As per the book, it is a great read man. I will check out the page nos. you suggest.

On another subject, Did you notice that the boardwalk is now leveled to the beach? In the past there were to ways to gain acces to the beach, 1) under the boardwalk 2) going up stairs to the boardwalk and then down of it. On page 87 Charles Denson makes a great reference to this as a "underwood hotel." Imagine what went on under it. The point is that the beach was not as high as it presently is.

Yeah, I was just there a few weeks ago.  Its good to take picture while you can, because there getting rid of things so fast.  Like for instance I went there just to get a papya dring from King papaya, since I only live two stops away, and its no longer there.  Man its all going so fast.
