Snow and Cowboy - Missing Time

After Snow and Cowboy find out that Ajax was arrested, we don't see them again until they meet up with the others later. So there's quite a long period where they're not on screen. During that time, Swan and Mercy narrowly avoid the police and walk through the subway tunnel and Cochise, Vermin and Rembrandt encounter the Lizzies.

Now Snow and Cowboy presumably just made their way to meet the others without any hiccups, but there's enough time for them to get in their own little adventure. My question is if you could insert a little subplot where they get in trouble on their way to meet the others, what would you have happen to them?

i'd have em get into a small fight with a rogue lookin for the warriors. and at the end the rogue would be beaten really bad, wuss out, grab cowboys hat and run. and cowboy wouldn't go anywhere without it so they chase the rogue down. the rogue would lead snow and cowboy down to a larger group of rogues and a large fight would happen. giving a chance to show that cowboy actually can fight!

Whoa!  That is a major inquiry.  I truly never thought about that before.  Wouldn't it be awesome if there was  rare, raw footage of an unedited scene, of those two running into some trouble or something.  Man that would be cool.  Maybe, a different style encounter, not a fight and not women, like Cowboy runs into his father who tracked him down to take him home.  Cowboy talks with him and considers going but ultimately decides to go with Snow.
But either way, great post!!!!

I'd say they have a little scrap with a Riffs patrol.  Snow and Cowboy walk near the entrance to the station, and four Riffs appear out of nowhere.  The Riffs try going kung fu all over 'em, but Snow is too fast with his bat and Cowboy knocks out the last guy with a punch right across the jaw.

As they leave the four riffs on the street, Snow looks back and says "That was for cleon."

Awesome question.  There should definitely be a scene about this.  I'd maybe have them run into the Hi-Hats making their way back to SoHo...

Cowboy: Look...the Hi-Hats are on our tail.
Snow: Just get done with one gang of painted freaks and we run into another.

yeh thats what i would of thought, Snow and Cowboy may have run into one of the gangs we only get a tiny glimps of in the movie like, the Hi-Hats, The Boppers, The Hurricanes, The Panzers etc.

Maybe they could have come across a gang they where friendly with and they escorted them to the station.        its one of those questions that may never be answerd :doubt:

Topics like this open up new ideas, like was Mercy a spy for another gang (not the orphans) and is that how she got the jacket and why Swan seemed to adress her suspiciously.

Scurvy Dog, from reading your post, I now have started to come up with tonnes of ideas of how Cowboy and Snow got there so quickly.
Maybe they did a striptease for the Turnbulls and in return they gave them a lift on their bus,

hehehe that was funny but do you really think mercy was a spy?she hangs with the orphans they are some bad mother dudes(they are on the paper woa¡¡¡¡)so they can teach her how to stole things very easy and probably snow and cowboy went walking(at speed of light but....)
maybe they took some short cuts or another train at 72 street station
sure there was a lot of cops but probably they were warning other units and snow and cowboy could take a train
if not the only choice we got is the striptease

Thanks guys, those are are all cool scenarios. Emissary, I like your idea of one of them having to chose between their birth family and their street family, deep stuff. And Gonzo, I loved that 'painted freaks' line. Killermime, like you I was thinking maybe they could've encountered a Riff patrol.

I would've also liked to see them run into another gang like the Hi-Hats or the Savage Huns, but the problem with that is you couldn't realistically have just the two of them take on a whole gang (although with the way Snow was fighting against the Punks, I wouldn't be surprised if they could). You'd have to find a reason for a gang to split up into a smaller group. Maybe you could have a scenario where there's two or three younger members of a gang and they're annoyed that they weren't taken to the big meeting and aren't taken seriously so they go off on their own to get the Warriors and prove themselves, then to their delight they find two Warriors on their own, but to their horror one of them happens to be Snow..........with a bat.

Scurvy Dog wrote: Excellent topic! I just watched the movie again last night, and realized it didn't address this, but I simply assumed they went to 96th Street Station, and took the train to Union Square.

But since 96th Street Station was crawling with cops - they probably didn't! And they probably didn't walk, either, because the Union Square neighborhood runs from 14th Street to 18th Street - so they would have had to walk at least 78 blocks!

If they crossed through Central Park to the East Side, that would put them close to Harlem and Spanish Harlem, which according to the game (though not the movie) would place them near Bopper/Hurricane turf. Even if they made it to the subway without incident, that line would apparently take them through Gramercy.

On this same topic - where did Mercy go between the time The Fox was killed, and she returned with the jacket to meet Swan at 96th Street?

Lots of exciting "what-if" scenarios here! Looks like we could be in store for some interesting fan fiction! (I think I've found my next topic, anyway!)
if they were close to harlem they will have to bop with the eliminators not with the boppers thats on the game
the boppers turf is lower east side  there was a post about this

that would be awsome. but wheres cowboys credit? he was just as awsome against the punks as snow was. if you ask me, i think snow and cowboy make a very dangerous combination.

I think that if they got into a fight they would have told the rest of the gang.Or maybe something embarassing happend to them and they didn't want the other guys to know about it?The best Idea I can come up with is,they ran into some chicks fooled around with them a little, then found out that they were actually guys

Yeah that would be cool if they ran into some hi-hats and started fighting.

Sure, Cowboy did well in that fight, but he didn't look as awesome or devastating as Snow did, but to be fair to him hardly any of the others did either, although Ajax probably would've done if he had been there. I mentioned Snow over Cowboy in my previous post because if just the two of them were attacked by another gang I'd have more confidence in Snow holding his own whilst outnumbered than I would Cowboy, Snow would obviously be the strongest link in that duo.

Don't get me wrong though, Cowboy proved he could kick butt in the fight with the Punks, and for that I give him credit. I think the thing about Cowboy is, people tend to remember him getting floored by the Furies more than they remember him holding his own against the Punks.

I think that would've happened if Cochise and Vermin had gone any further with the Lizzies.
