hey, i searched and found no topics on this particular nit-pick.
in a production photo, just befroe they leave, swan has a big-ass bowie knife in his hand. what happened? did he lose it on the way to the meeting? did it fall out of his pocket in a chase scene? or did he leave it there at coney?

He left it there when they went to the conclave. It was a truce so no gang members were allowed to have any weapons.

Your research skills need work. This issue has certainly been brought up before.

yeah, i suppose so. but wouldnt swan try tom come prepared. he could hide the knife, no-one actually felt good about the conclave. maybe he thought he'd need it............and if i'm wrong.................
and also my search skills are pretty lame. i put in "swan knife" i didnt see any thing on this in particular topic. all i saw was stuff like "where did swan get the knife" but i probably missed a few.

also in the original script, Swan was meant to have a Bowie Knife, but many thing in the production and the story changed this, liek the fact the meeting was for no weapons. and fights in the movie would have been to easy if Swan could stab and slit. and also Because of Swans on screen 'click' with Mercy and Fox's leaving, Swan was not kidnapped, which is probally where he would of go tthe bowie knife

Yeah. The original script is where the bowie knife came from. In the script, Swan was really bummed that he couldnt bring his knife

It was a matter of honor---if he carried a knife to the conclave, and anyone found out, they would have thought he was scared to be among the others unarmed. Plus Cleon said-Nine guys and NO weapons--you do what your leader says in that situation, to break it, would be breaking Cleon's word--then Swan would be demoted fast as being undependable. And Swan was dependable if he was anything!
