what would happen if they didn't get split up at 96th statio
what would happen if they didn't get split up at 96th statio
what do you think would happen if their were no cops waiting at the 96th street station and the warriors did not get split up?
The Fox would still be OK and the furies part would have never happend.
The only problem I think is that Ajax would have gone with the lizzies and gotten himself killed.
I think that the bathroom fight might not have happend because the punks were not at union square when the lizzies where there, and unless the train didn't show up fast, the punks would have appeared.
what dose anyone else think?

Don't be too quick to think that the split was unfortunate. If they would have stuck to the route without interuption, they might have met other, more entrenched groups who were ready to pounce. The delay may have provided the time necessary to throw off the group that may have killed them. Also, it provided the necessary time for the Rogues to be named as the assassins.

Think of this, how did the Furies know that any of them would be getting off the train and would be exiting the station?
I'll show you how I play

I hear ya with keeping track of them but The Furies were just waiting outside. What are the odds that they would get off the train and exit the station??

I still think they would of met with the Furies, the Furies didn't go in because they knew cops where roaming all over the subway station, now this would of been another great fight, just like the Punks. They would of met with the Lizzies as well, though I think they would used their firepower since they saw there were too many Warriors. The Punks were inevitable, that was a sure fight. I also think the would gotten home a bit faster, maybe fast enough to avoid the Rogues, depending on how fast they crushed the gangs they fought against. This would allow them to get more members and destroy the invading Rogues. Who knows, maybe even the Riffs for invading their territory as well, since they still wouldn't know who had shot Cyrus.

Hmmm, interesting topic! I think the Furie fight would have been way better, I don't think they would run. They'd fight them right there and it would be a great fight. Then after the fight, everybody would wonder where Fox is and go back in 96th Street Station, but then they just get tired of waiting and know they could get busted if they hang around too long. Then, they would go back out and continue there journey home and possible run into the Boppers or the Electric Eliminators! 8).

I don't think it mattered--the word was out to WATCH for them and pick them up if possible, they were simply-- prepared--If they got off there, and being so close they would have an idea of the train schedules, they were ready, and if they didn't the Furies were still ready.Dave Mack wrote: I hear ya with keeping track of them but The Furies were just waiting outside. they couldn't go inside the station though or someone would have called the cops--that many guys carring bats--and looking for trouble, The cops were already nervous. Everyone was looking for trouble that night, just depended on where you were as to what you found.

Re: what would happen if they didn't get split up at 96th st
The Furies could have probably got away with going inside the station for a hit and run style attack. There were more of them than there were cops, and it's their home turf, so they could probably get reinforcements. Plus they're all packing bats, and the facepaint would make it hard for the police to identify who's who in the gang afterwards, and I can't imagine any Furies who do get busted actually talking to the cops.
Or if there were no cops around, maybe the Furies would have entered the station and, seeing the Warriors in the train, jumped onto the train to fight them there. They'd have the Warriors cornered inside the train, there'd have to be a big brawl.

I think the Furies are creatures of the night. They don't enter bright places with lots of armed cops around. They would certainly die in a hail of gunfire. So, they waited, possibly knowing that the Warriors were in there. They were waiting patiently, like a rattlesnake.eliminator1 wrote: The Furies could have probably got away with going inside the station for a hit and run style attack. the furies did not need to brawl if the cops got them if not the warriors could easily be wasted

Re: what would happen if they didn't get split up at 96th st
Well The Warriors would have taken the exact same train and timeline that vermin cochise and rembrant took. The lizzies would have been waiting when they got off,and I still do not know if they would have fired at the warriors killing them all or tried to seduce them.
Ajax obviosly would have gone with them, getting himself shot.
If the rest of the Warriors got on a train fast they would have left before the punks arived,if not the same fight, but The Fox is with them, so thats one extra man.
As for The Rouges,if they were waiting at coney island for the warriors to show up,There would have been a fight betweed The Warriors and The Rouges because The Riffs didn't get to Coney Island until an hour or two later, the whole timeline just got moved ahead by a couple hours.
